A true masterpiece, definetly the best one just behind (or even together with) the original interpretation of Ewan McGregor.

The sound-mixing on the french clip is way better, though. but that's not necessarily a problem with the Italian version itself, I imagine those videos originate from multiple sources or varying quality.

There is some agony, but there is more of a sad tone to it.
German one is pretty emotional. Guess you have to be at the level of a native speaker to understand that, the rest of you may find it pretty aggressive and maybe rude, when it is actually not. The Italian one was awesome too!

@@blondebimbowannabe "Euch" isn't used that much today. It comes from the medieval days. At this time, the german language was much different from today. Respect-persons were addressed with euch. Anakin is the former apprentice of Obi-Wan, so he talks to him with "euch".

I'm Italian so it obviously hit deeper in my own language since Francesco Bulckaen (Obi-Wan) and Francesco Pezzulli (Anakin) did a tremendous job as usual, but the French was so emotional too. Beautiful! Also the German one impressed me a lot. Well done 👏

The italian and english dialogues are almost identical. The only different dialogue it's "ti volevo bene" that in italian means "brotherly love" and it's different from "i loved you" that in italian means " love for a partner or wife".
I watched the entire Star Wars saga in Italian (you know, I am italian) and I can tell you that it has the best dub, almost better than the original one. Italy has got the world's best dubbers.

Also the contrast of the formal speech and his emotional outburst makes it, in my opinion, even better because he is his former padawan and is used to address Obi-Wan in a formal way but at the same time breaks the bond.

Da grandissimo fan sfegatato di tutta la saga di Star Wars, avendo visto ogni singolo film circa un'infinità di volte, posso spiegare questa scena per chi non la conoscesse... Il duello con le spade laser tra il cavaliere Jedi Anakin Skywalker, ormai diventato Darth Vader ed il maestro Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi si svolge alla fine del 19 BBY, sul pianeta vulcanico di Mustafar... Questo è IL MOMENTO PIÙ DRAMMATICO di tutta la saga di Star Wars, forse anche una delle più decisive, belle, importanti, iconografiche ed ioniche di quest'ultima... In questa scena c'è il discorso tra il triste, arrabbiato e deluso Obi-wan ed Anakin Skywalker ormai diventato "DARTH VADER"... Anakin Skywalker, sedotto dal lato oscuro, è stato mandato su Mustafar ad uccidere i capi separatisti della Federazione dei Sistemi indipendenti e dei mercanti... Obi-Wan e Padmé si sono messi d'accordo su Coruscant, il pianeta sede del Senato Galattico e del Tempio Jedi per tentare di riportare al lato chiaro Anakin o di ucciderlo... Non ci riescono e Anakin strozza Padmé con la Forza... Dopo aver combattuto per un po', Obi-Wan, con un conflitto interno sul fatto di decidere se uccidere Anakin o lasciarlo vivo, sceglie di fare un salto per arrivare sulla terraferma, visto che i due si trovavano su una piattaforma galleggiante in mezzo alla lava... Ora Obi-Wan sta più in alto di Anakin, e questo svantaggia Anakin, a causa del fatto che saltare per raggiungere Obi-wan sarebbe letale per lui... Così, come potrete ascoltare, Obi-wan gli dice :"È finita Anakin !!! ... Sto più in alto di te !!!" Allora Anakin esclama, convinto di essere potentissimo ed invincibile :"Tu sottovaluti il mio potere !!!"... E Obi-Wan ribatte, consapevole che se Anakin saltasse per arrivare a lui lo trancerebbe di sicuro :"Non provarci !!!...", dice rassegnato... Ma Anakin è convinto di quello che sta per fare, e, non ascoltando Obi-wan, salta dalla piattaforma per arrivare sulla terraferma... Il suo maestro lo sconfigge, mozzandogli un braccio e le gambe e facendo cadere a terra la sua spada laser... Allora, Obi-Wan raccoglie la spada di Anakin che era caduta alla fine del combattimento e ritorna al luogo dove Anakin aveva strangolato con la Forza la sua moglie segreta Padmé Amidala...
