When he joined the red wire to the heavy white wire under the dash; that would be the required permanent live - saved him from going into the engine bay to the battery.👍
hello can you help me in any way i am fitting a towbar on my 2011 peugeot 3008 i am fitting a relay on the wiring do i have to remove the negative lead of my battary many thanks
Some have that very useful facility. There's a spur connector off the lighting sub-loom in the boot of my Rover 620ti I've used for towing for about twenty years. Rover had an inexpensive kit which is simply plug and play straight to my trailer board or trailer connections. Works a treat. Before I realised that connector was there hidden behind the boot lining side trim, and a wiring accessory kit was available, on another 620ti in the family I did what the Guy in this vid did. Lots of block connectors and Multi Meter explorations identifying what wires go where. That worked well but nowhere near as convenient as that useful plug and play connector.
Brill video! Fitted my ow with help from this video, thanks so much.
Excellent presentation. But I have seen other clips that shows that have to connect a long wire to the battery as well. Is it necessary?

Some BMW's also have a module available, for towing, and even one for parking sensors.
so basically you just tap off the wires to the back lights?
What about the added relay that may be required?
Steps 8 and 9 - they are calling it a Module in the video.👍
can you tell me where can i get tow bar kit
why is there only breaklight at the right side :-)
😂😂😂
it was a test module
Left brake light not working?
mine makes a clicking sound long after the key is removed from the car. Think it drains the battery
take the fuse out or add an on off switch
Do we have to have the fucking music!
Yes watched the whole thing then i realised i could have turned the sound down!
Sandy Mackie yeah I would have preferred the installer talking and explaining over the music
I spent the whole video dancing then realised I could have turned the music off!
porntrack special!
Opravdu "jednoduché" :-))))
Can’t watch the video for the crap music
It is not a good idea to put tape on soldered wires or indeed scotch locks..Heat shrink should be always used;;it's more professional
usa la guaina termorestringente, butta via il nastro siamo nel 2020
