Towbar Installation (Including Wiring / Electrics)

- In this video we carry out a full towbar installation - including wiring up a universal electrics kit - covering each step of the job in detail. The end result is an extremely useful addition to our car (Nissan Qashqai) and the total cost was just £138 ($176 USD)
DIY Towbar Installation Steps:
1: Remove Bumper
2: Remove Towbar Mounting Point Covers
3: Fit Towbar & Brackets (Keep All Fasteners Loose Until Everything Is In Position & Threads Engaged)
4: Torque All Fasteners
5: Fit Towbar Electrics
6: Test With Trailer Lighting Board
7: Reinstall Covers & Bumper

@@christopher_barr thanks Chris, that bike is a nice bike, it looks nice because it gets all the looks, but the low down its not nice to ride, has massive power but not comfy, ive just sold it and my Yamaha and just bought 3 new ones, a CB1000R, CBR650R, and a Husqvarna TE250I, all very nice to ride....

Good job! Just wondering if it’s possible to just change the 13 pin socket thing? Mine got water in it and caused it to short I think.
Basically it caused the cars reverse lights to go on permanently, even with engine off and locked with the key fob.
I had to just disconnect it

Hi, great vid thankyou. How do you know which rear light light of vehicle to tap into... I.e left or right...
As in, for the indicators, you connected to one side and both sides worked...

Not gonna lie, that's a piss-poor towbar if you need to take an angle grinder to ANY of the parts supplied.
