Nice bike, but I don’t think it’s really worth $1300.00 when it doesn’t really offer much more than then the A2 folding bike I bought from AiPAS New York, for only $750.00, and they’re a U.S. base company which is a big plus to me. Did I mention that the A2 is also completely assembled in the box. 😊
Totally different specs between the two bikes. The A2 doesn't come close to this, though it is a nice bike for the price.
@@JasonMatsumoto yes, the A2 is a very nice bike for the price. It offers a much greater value than the Engwe could ever do, and that was my point. Don’t waste your money on something that doesn’t offer any value at twice the price. P.s.: And if you really needed the extra range, you could add a second battery for less than $300.00 and still save about $300.00 that you could put back in your pocket or buy other accessories like a basket kit, lock, and helmet. 😉

Nice, first video of the engine pro 2.0. I wanted to ask, have you tested if it still has the regenerative charging function? The first one had it but I don’t know if the 2.0 still has it

@@silkiukas Awesome, I didn’t think other people cared that much about it because so few companies are putting this in their products. I know it doesn’t give much power back, but it can be helpful while cruising down a long hill, it doesn’t use your brakes as much
I asked Engwe customer service and they told me that the Engine Pro 2 does not have regenerative braking system -- unlike the original Engine Pro

How many hills can 750W climb? There are a lot of hills where I live and I needed an electric bike that could climb them. Will you be testing the PVY Z20 PLUS? I'm torn between these two models.
You need a mid drive if you want hill climbing power. A 250 watt mid drive will out-climb a 1000 watt hub motor easily.
Hello. I see that you know Engwe electric bicycles well. I want to buy one, but I have no way to try them in Spain. That's why I would appreciate it if you could advise me on a model. I tell you my needs. I am 70 years old and I am 5'5". I weigh 70 kg. I want it to walk, mainly on steep mountain trails. I don't need speed, but I do need it to be able to climb steep trails without having to pedal.

Just didn’t understand it and wanted to ask if this bike requires a licence to use in the EU. Or can we use it normally like a cycle
You can use it like a traditional bike but I can’t say I know the EU rules
I got the ep-2 international version but it live in eu. I disconnected the throttle and put it in a backpack ( it has to be connected still but I believe since it’s inactive and away from me it can count as removed) , I got the limit to 25km/h and I ride gently when among people. Basically the only issue is that the engine is too strong. I just email engwe and got certificate for the EU version. I never had problems anyway

Engwe Engine Pro 2.0 is much better. More torque/power. It has torque sensor which is better than the old model's cadence sensor.
What is the top speed ? 52V should do 35-40mph
It is limited to 20/28 to classify it as a class 2 ebike. I’m sure there’s a way…

They lost a sale to me, I’m an mechanic by trade once upon a time (USAF) at 67 yo, I’m sick of assembling… such a lazy company….I like what this bike has to offer, but fully assembled only. I’ll look elsewhere, thanks for the video, helped me know to skip this one.

It is already assembled all you have to do is attach handlebar stem 2 bolts hexkey, drop in front wheel tighten 2 bolts that's it
