It’s up to the driver to avoid pedestrians not the other way round . The law is any blue light must not bully other drivers or pedestrians if it’s unsafe.
Such ass backwards thinking. Every second counts when they are trying to rush a patient to the hospital. Emergency vehicles have the absolute right of way and anyone caught impeding that need to be fined heavily.
The Highway Code says they have right of way only if it’s a safe right of way they must find away around other road users who should avoid mounting payments and driving through red lights.
