Remember if you are watching this for gcse the number inside the square root is never a minus sign at GCSE
There was a part that said "25-(-32)". How did it turn into a plus? And if I have "25 - (8)" would it stay a minus or turn into a plus?
Hi, if you subtract a negative number it is the same as adding, for example 7 - (-4) = 7 + 4 = 11.
In your exam of 25 - (8) though that is the same as 25 - 8, so 17

Hard to say, it really depends on the question. If they ask for the solution to a certain number of decimal places though, or if you can't factorise it, then you'll probably need to use the quadratic formula :)
I think they give the quadratic formula in the tests

If you have a negative number inside of your square root, how do you solve it?
i don't think you can have a negative square root, so something probably went wrong somewhere else and you can just double check it

I don't know about other cases, but I know that you are not allowed to have negative numbers in square roots, so there is no solution. Maybe that's why.

You can’t put the whole equation in the Calculator at once , you need to do it step by step
sometimes the equation cant be solved due to a mistake in the calculation so it should provide ur calculator with a math error
