Today we will be going over 5 Things I Wish I Knew Sooner within The First Descendant. These range from some very simple overlooked things to making sure you are prepping for endgame since Day 1. Combine all these tips and you will be setup for success by the end of your playthrough starting into end game.

@@darktenacity3594if you unlock hard mode you can get character parts from the missions instead of other ways which is a lot easier
The private thing is such a help, genuinely, and I see why a lot of us including myself, missed it completely. Whenever I try to do said missions, there's always a random bunny jumping in popping their V and ruining it all. Thanks so much!

How does she ruin everything? If they kill everything, less work for you right?
Yes she is squishy and can die in less hits but a good one destroys everything.
Giggling aint that bad when you turn it off.
@@kaizerk4321 Because, in my case, I'm tryna farm for Ultimate bunny, and to do that, I need to use Sharen to disable the tube things, thing is, if anyone, ANYONE, gets spotted, I can't disable the tube things, if they take damage, I can't disable them. So yes, those bunnies ruin the attempt.
@@benhutchison2538 Same here bud, then again I do use her from time to time, but atm, I'm putting time into Sharen to grind for ultimate bunny parts

The bits about properly leveling up and re-rolling passives and about resetting the 5-minute timer were life-savers ty

Not sure if this was already mentioned in the video: but if you're doing level transmissions on your weapons, your substats/weapon options reset to Grey Rarity, so if you have a Gold Electric Attack weapon option at Level 49 and level transmission it to a higher level, it'll reset to common rarity and the numbers go down

i wish i knew earlier that the tab scan function is there to scan for a puzzle object. it makes a sound when facing the direction. when doing it in the desert you get the key component to energizing mod symbols to put on ur hero. its something i only knew after 50 hours

you can use nearly every module and weapon on any descendant, to level up ur mastery u need to play with different weapons and descendants. my thundercage is maxed with his perfomance level and my bunny too. but the mastery level increase is staggering. because you get module points for mastery level till level 15 or 16 (bad memory sorry) it would be beneficial for all chars at all in the end. The only thing that is a problem is the energy activator for tjhe +30 Module Points. but rest can shared with all descendants what is really helpful.
I boosted a couple ultimate weapons over the weekend and didn't even pay attention to the passives. No wonder they felt less than meh.
Private mode will also spawn you into old private instances that isn't yours. I've went in and out of regions and found 3:30 timers down to 130 timers while other times ill find none timed instances. It's hot or miss.
My brother while I agree with everything you said your master rank 12 and in endgame I'm still in the 3rd zone trying to get a freyna part before I go forward and mr 10 because I'm lvling a ton of stuff while I agree takeing 1 thing to the limit is important you have to swap stuff around to get your mr up to at least get max capacity
I could be wrong but as far as I can tell, max capacity is 80. I got two guns and two characters at 80 capacity and it doesn't seem to go higher. All of which was achieved by MR 10. Energy Activators are needed for it
Legendary
For those that dont know, with mod crafting, it's based on the rarity you use and the type. For example, if you use all purple mods that are for a descendant, it will give you a random purple descendant mod
All purples give a possibility of a gold. Same for golds into reds
This video fixed my withering marriage.

You can also just use the travel point to go to the next location and then travel back. It resets the mission right away. It has the hourglass looking icon usually at the edges of the map leading to another location.
fuuuu, been re-rolling my passives on guns at lvl 41
Guys. For the outposts, after you complete one, return to Albion and go back to get a reduced time most of the time, I’ve done it and it’s reset all 5 minutes many times in a row.
Mr Chad, does it at all matter at which point I use my energy capacity item (+30 module slots) on my thundercake?
Mine is a level 66, and trait level is 2 out of 4, with 2 more baby ones cookin'

Tip for rerolling, make sure you level up your gun to the current level and the rerolls will be a lot better

How do you get the health and shield numbers on screen
The turning it to private for Recon missions doesnt work, still get a timer no matter how many times i jump around the map/servers, guess it was patched
I’m on my 4th toon and I got them all for free. The grind is real but it can be done.
Precrafting is a sss+ tip if you can craft it do so you'll thank yourself later on

The catalyst he mentioned increases the cap.
With the catalyst, he can make the modules that cost 14 point only cost 7, bringing his total capacity down to allow more modules.
You add the "sockets" to the weapon/descendent mods, which make fitted mods cost half, so you can use more and higher level mods (they scale exponentially with level and linearly with space taken).
I just started and world chat will not answer ym question no matter how many times I ask. I noticed Profiency EXP is shared across all duplicate weapons. If I decide to put a catalyst in a weapon super early in the game (I didn't but let's say I did) and get another copy of the weapon later, do the copy share this increased capacity? Is there a weapon fusion mechanic instead if no?
Yes, your Catalyst carries over to other copies. You can also boost the gun. For example, I got a purple Tamer which dropped at weapon level 65, and now it's 100 with the boost things you can craft.
How can u craft 20 axis? I can only do 2 at a time
Pretty sure you unlock more crafting options as you level your mastery

No completely sure but I think you just need to have the the amount needed to craft 20 and the option will pop up
End game currently
Focusing 1 character and 1 weapon before the endgame is a mistake. You're missing out on several, if not a dozen or so, mastery levels. You only get mastery for your 1st time, getting a character to level 40, same with weapons. "Prestiging" characters and weapons back to level 1 does not reward you bonus mastery when leveled up again. For reference, i only have 36 hours played, and I'm still on normal difficulty with several lvl 40s and maxed guns, and my mastery is higher than yours. Focusing 1 character and weapon once you get to hard mode with full lvl 100 gear is where is starts to make sense. Dont neglect your other characters and weapons.
Special operations (Albion kiber defense) is a good place to level on new/unlocked descendents to get levels and profiency, which translates into more mastery.
Do you still have to farm the thunder cage after you get it the first time?
If you build another one and use it in the gunsmith upgrade thingymabob it scales the legendary stats. Sorry don't know the correct terminology

you technically need 5 total for maximum exotic perk. You use 4 to strengthen 1. Its an easy farm though. The missions are 3 minutes with 20% drop chance. Youll be done in an hour

Those won't farm for hours all those materials.
I mentioned it for those who are willing to spend hours and days on this game, and who they would be better off first getting the ultimate version of bunny, instead of the simple one, who would they delete once they lvled her to 40 anyway, so they wouldn't have to spend plat to buy another descendant slot.
@@nikosxi I think this game is not so much of time consume if you happy with what you got, go slow, enjoy gameplay because this game is full pve, you have no one to race with. Grind take times but not hard to get things to up your main char power.

I wish I knew that the grind for some of the Charakters is bollocks and that all the droprate sht being shown is all a scam of making you think it should be easy to make you give up and open your wallet in annoyed failed Dissapointment
The grind in this game is actually way worse than warframe. Which is saying something. I don’t think people are gonna stick it out once all the XP bonuses are gone. Too bad they had to be greedy
Nope it’s actually not at all warframe MR time gate system and crafting times prove that I’ve crafted 6 decnendanta within 3 days and weapons that would be time gated behind mastery rank In warframe that would take you months to get not even money can surpass the MR time gate. So no you’re 100% wrong I’ve done and gotten more as a free to play player in 3 days in this game that would take me a month or two in warframe. Cope and cry harder That this game is 100x better than warframe in every single way. You’re most likely a casual trash gamer if you think that.

It’s better than Warframe grind cuz it tells you where to find the stuff. Game just came out they will fix the bugs. Warframe grind is nothing compared to this game. I actually farmed for Valby and the assassin and it wasn’t that hard took probably 20 hours in total
