Watching the trial Johnny went through recently, I saw some changes in him. Hard to put into words...deeper, more soulful, hurting but letting it go, courageous, doing what is right, for himself and his family. He's less wacky now, more soulful - and it shows in this music...beautifully sung. I did see, during the trial, he has retained his adorable wit and sense of humour - sharp as anything, he simply won't suffer fools any more. She left him a lot of stuff. I got an autographed photo. He has a lot of photos of her and him and at his home
I’ve actually read a letter from her son to her condemning her for her past mistakes. Her son seemed like a brat. She also would leave a piece of jewelry every night she would stay at my friends house for his daughter. I don’t believe the tabloids about her. My friend would not lie about her character and he said she was one of the nicest people he ever meet.

I didn't know much about Hedy Lamarr so I read her biography after listening to this song. What struck me the most was the accusation of shoplifting which seemed to be planned, and the fact she was taken to jail that evening spending a night there. In the morning her face behind bars was in the front page of main newspapers. Overnight she became a "thief" for the world to see. How humiliated she probably felt.

There's a documentary called bombshell I believe and I watched it like 3 years ago I think and it was just mind blowing what this woman did to save our world if you look at it in the long run but I don't want to give it all away but just like so many other actresses back in those days she wasn't given credit for anything she was just a pretty face rest in peace Eddie Lamar I put a tribute to her after I saw the documentary still on my page it just makes me so proud of her but so sad she died of broken person because of it
Her invention about some type of coding was brought to the military because if that period of time the Allies were not doing well in the submarine fights and it looked like we would even possibly lose the war against the Nazis so she invented along with this other man but she was like the head of it and it's just unbelievable because I am not good at math like English and history like European history but I am terrible at anything with math or science but I just can't even conceive of how she just came up with this and basically they not basically really they said someone something like you don't know what you're talking about and they kept the idea and they end up using it which helped us to get ahead of the Nazis and the Japanese and Italy and played a major part in US winning the war. It kind of reminds me of what was that show that was on the man in the high tower something like that was on for a couple seasons I never really watched it but I remember hearing what it was about it was about that very thing if we had not won the war what the world would be like and they stole her idea and told her no it could never work and she didn't even care so much about the money she just wanted to see her invention come to fruition and get credit that our military told her that it wouldn't work and basically to go kick rocks. When she found out that her invention for coding for submarines actually did play a major part in the allies ending up getting the upper end the battle and World War II and not only that they use that same technology for things like cell phones and I forget what else it said it's crazy all this stuff and she became a very broken and bitter woman and I don't blame her and I think she had one daughter and possibly son and her daughter still alive and she said she loved her mother but she was just she became an alcoholic and she was this very angry at how she was treated. Just another story of you know the beautiful women from back in the day the heyday of Hollywood and how their life turned to s*** basically most of the times it was really a conspiracy but who would be there to help support it hypothetically speaking. Yet another instance that proves how much respect Johnny actually has four women to I don't know if he wrote the lyrics but with that Jeff Beck musician I know I've heard his name before but I can't think of where but anyway he has so much respect for women so once again just another piece of proof that shows he was not a woman hater or anything like that. What was the name of that book ? And did you say you saw the documentary on Netflix called bombshell the Hedy Lamar story ? She was also basically known from the beginning to have a simulated sex scene in a movie and this is packing the late 30s early 40s so that's basically all she was known for. I know Johnny came late to the singing part, always was a guitarist, but I think he has found his true vocation with Jeff, who I have always considered a great guitarist. My neighbor was like her best friend and took care of a lot of her finances near the end of her life. He showed me actually letters she wrote to him. She used to stay at his house sometimes. She left him a lot of stuff. I got an autographed photo. He has a lot of photos of her and him and at his home
I’ve actually read a letter from her son to her condemning her for her past mistakes. Her son seemed like a brat. She also would leave a piece of jewelry every night she would stay at my friends house for his daughter. I don’t believe the tabloids about her. My friend would not lie about her character and he said she was one of the nicest people he ever meet.

I didn't know much about Hedy Lamarr so I read her biography after listening to this song. What struck me the most was the accusation of shoplifting which seemed to be planned, and the fact she was taken to jail that evening spending a night there. In the morning her face behind bars was in the front page of main newspapers. Overnight she became a "thief" for the world to see. How humiliated she probably felt.

There's a documentary called bombshell I believe and I watched it like 3 years ago I think and it was just mind blowing what this woman did to save our world if you look at it in the long run but I don't want to give it all away but just like so many other actresses back in those days she wasn't given credit for anything she was just a pretty face rest in peace Eddie Lamar I put a tribute to her after I saw the documentary still on my page it just makes me so proud of her but so sad she died of broken person because of it
Her invention about some type of coding was brought to the military because if that period of time the Allies were not doing well in the submarine fights and it looked like we would even possibly lose the war against the Nazis so she invented along with this other man but she was like the head of it and it's just unbelievable because I am not good at math like English and history like European history but I am terrible at anything with math or science but I just can't even conceive of how she just came up with this and basically they not basically really they said someone something like you don't know what you're talking about and they kept the idea and they end up using it which helped us to get ahead of the Nazis and the Japanese and Italy and played a major part in US winning the war. It kind of reminds me of what was that show that was on the man in the high tower something like that was on for a couple seasons I never really watched it but I remember hearing what it was about it was about that very thing if we had not won the war what the world would be like and they stole her idea and told her no it could never work and she didn't even care so much about the money she just wanted to see her invention come to fruition and get credit that our military told her that it wouldn't work and basically to go kick rocks. When she found out that her invention for coding for submarines actually did play a major part in the allies ending up getting the upper end the battle and World War II and not only that they use that same technology for things like cell phones and I forget what else it said it's crazy all this stuff and she became a very broken and bitter woman and I don't blame her and I think she had one daughter and possibly son and her daughter still alive and she said she loved her mother but she was just she became an alcoholic and she was this very angry at how she was treated. Just another story of you know the beautiful women from back in the day the heyday of Hollywood and how their life turned to s*** basically most of the times it was really a conspiracy but who would be there to help support it hypothetically speaking. Yet another instance that proves how much respect Johnny actually has four women to I don't know if he wrote the lyrics but with that Jeff Beck musician I know I've heard his name before but I can't think of where but anyway he has so much respect for women so once again just another piece of proof that shows he was not a woman hater or anything like that. What was the name of that book ? And did you say you saw the documentary on Netflix called bombshell the Hedy Lamar story ? She was also basically known from the beginning to have a simulated sex scene in a movie and this is packing the late 30s early 40s so that's basically all she was known for. I think it's two or three years ago I put on my Instagram because I wanted to be yet another person to carry on her legacy and hopefully she's looking down from heaven and smiling at her finally getting the recognition that she deserved I think it also was like Bluetooth cell phones and Towers all sorts of amazing things that I used today and because she was just some done bimbo and Hollywood that did a simulated sex scene back in the late 30s early forties they just shunned her off and stole her idea those scheisty mofos. And you shouldn't feel ashamed Tammy about not knowing about the amazing things that she did in her life more than just a pretty face. I had heard of her and I knew she was an actress back and like the 30s and 40s somewhere on there but until I watch bombshell documentary on her life I had no clue at all that she played in an amazing part in the allies winning World War II of course there are many other dedications to soldiers involves but you should just watch the documentary or read the book that the gentleman was talking about. I think then she'll look down and be happy and say yes they did remember me because when it comes down to it most people wonder am I just going to be a distant forgotten memory or will I be remembered for something

He should be a biographical/historical song writer for historical figures. I didn’t even know who Hedy Lamarr was, and this song spurred me on to watch a documentary about her. What an amazing lady who was never recognized for her world changing invention. Beautiful song JD. I love songs about real people and real life.

Not just a pretty face. She truly was an under appreciated force of nature during her lifetime. She is a hero to any aspiring inventor. She never stopped innovating and of course (a sign of those times) the powers that be tried to strip her of her inventions and money due to her and she had to sue to get recognized and paid.

Jeff and Johnny together are such a great pairing. Everything I have heard from this duo so far I have liked. I know Johnny came late to the singing part, always was a guitarist, but I think he has found his true vocation with Jeff, who I have always considered a great guitarist. What a pairing and what a lovely tribute to Hedy Lamarr who really in her own time was not recognised for the amazing person she was. I love this tribute.
PS Johnny just looks like he has come home when I see him performing on stage. This is really where he belongs, not to dismiss his prolific acting career. He just seems more at home and at ease doing this.
