Johnny saved my friend’s job once on set. A locations manager. He screwed up & was fired on the spot but JD stepped in & went to bat for him.
I’ll never forget that & I just adore this man for his heart & the artist soul that permeates all he does.
He’s a good human. I wish more people knew that side of him.
What’s funny is he doesn’t actually do impersonations so much as jumps into character when telling stories, like he sees it as a scene.

He's so talented...great actor, plays guitar on a professional level, sings, paints and does impersonations.

He plays with Jeff Beck, which means he is a seriously good guitar player. Gives lessons to one of Aerosmith, the one who founded Hollywood Vampires with him, and Alice Cooper. Alice raves about JD's guitar abilities. He has recorded an album with Jeff Beck, out in July.

Johnny Depp has worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood and they all had nothing but great things to say about him as a person. I didn't know he did impressions...😅 yeah they were pretty good too! Hope to see him in more movies after this diabolical diatribe trial with Amber Heard is over. He is such a talented and phenomenal actor. Love his wry wit and he is darn hilarious in such an understated way.

Having portrayed Hunter in Where the Buffalo Roam, Bill advised Johnny to be careful, because once you engross yourself into the role of Hunter, a piece of him will often manifest itself through you for the rest of your life. I opine Fear in Loathing to be Johnny Depp's best acting performance. He lived with Hunter S. Thompson for months before shooting the film. He studied every document, letter, audio recording and video recording of Hunter to essentially become him. He didn't want to let Hunter down by misrepresenting him in the film. He had utmost respect for Hunter S. Thompson.

His passion and talent for music brought him to Hollywood where he discovered a very dormant and a his own treasure trove genius for acting that comes so naturally to him and he didn't know he had, till some people saw it in him. Most importantly, he was open to the opportunity. There is something of a lesson there for us to learn. Sometimes we start out with a game plan close to our hearts because we like, passionate about it etc. However, when it's not meant to be and the path is not leading to success and something else is turning the wheels of success, then that's the writing on the wall we need to embrace. If this guy insisted on being a musician, then he would be a barely noticeable musician. Since he started landing acting gigs, he became a phenomenal actor. He is still a good musician, an artist but he didn't fight the path of acting and has become phenomenally successful etc

Oohhhhh! I didn't know that Johnny Depp did impressions until I watched this video. He's soooo funny! 😆 🤣 😂 What an extraordinarily talented person with also his awesome acting and his guitar playing and singing.
We'll never know exactly what went on in his private life but Johnny is one of the best entertainers. He does it all - comedy, music, acting. And aside from you-know-who, we've never once heard anything but good things about him from those who know him. He seems to delight in other people.

There seems to be a huge amount of footage and many interviews which show that Mr. Depp , is essentially and fundamentally a very kind, decent man with a great but gentle sense of humour. It seems that his life went to pieces when he became involved with that woman. Imo . Furthermore, whilst I don’t think Mr. Depp was ever a “brat “ I suggest that the British brat of brats , harry , looks to see how the wrong woman can wreak catastrophic destruction . Again, my opinion!
