Fishing the St. Croix Legend Elite Panfish Series

Took the St. Croix Legend Elite Panfish Series rod out for a spin today for the first time in a long time and it was still as great as I remember it being. The lighter power compared to some of the light or medium-light power rods I've used recently was very noticeable. The smaller fish I caught today were a lot of fun to fight on this rod and the bigger fish provided quite the challenge. What a fun rod to fish.

Perfect timing! I decided to buy the regular St. Croix Panfish Series rod in 6’ at my local Dick’s Sporting Goods a few days ago. They didn’t have the Avid… but used the extra money saved to order a reel. Those EuroTackle baits look really nice. That gill at around 8:30😮!
