Anastasia: In a Crowd of Thousands Animatic

- This is the first animatic I've created!
I do not own In a Crowd of Thousands. This is a fan video only.
This song is in the Broadway musical production Anastasia, which was based on the movie of the same name. I just fell in love with the song and listened to it on repeat for days on end.
It took three days to plan, draw, and edit. I used my Intuos Pro tablet, Paint Tool Sai, and Windows Movie Maker.

Anastasia isn't as popular as heathers, or Hamilton so I was so happy when I found this beautiful animatic!

Honestly I'm not sure what my next project will be. I really enjoyed doing this animatic and would like to make more if I can decide on the right song, but I also want to do animated short stories. Yes, I'm self-taught. I always admired people who could draw something out of nothing, and I can still spend all day watching someone draw.

This song is really cute but I also can't get behind some parade being the whole "moment" for Anya and Dimitri. Obviously with the tone of the show leaning more towards the actual Russian revolution we couldn't have the whole "Dimitri opened up the servant's quarters so she and Empress Marie could escape" but SOMETHING with some more staying power than something as impersonal as the parade was imo. Maybe Dimitri worked in the Palace as a kid and Anastasia was the only one to treat him like a person and not a servant? Idk something like that would make their lovestory a bit more believeable here.
