Chazz has the most authentic mob face of all actors.

@@DLL8252 EXACTLY....Stole my answer.
true
Chazz and Armand Assante would've been perfect in The Sopranos.
True
Chazz is a living legend and one of the most underrated actors ever. He's earned it.
I respect that man - and fear him!
Earned it 10x over.
Agree always loved this movie
I don’t think this cat is underrated.......naaaah !!! World class chap
to me Chaz one of the best actors in the top 10 maybe top five he's so good he's a he's a good guy in person he's a really upstanding guy he's he's not a bullshiter he's a straight-up solid dude I was his driver on the movie Jade that we did here in San Francisco and the teamster's Union and he was just a great guy wasn't rude was this awesome I mean was honor to work for him he was just a really good solid dude man I'll never forget that one of my favorites probably one of the best and that movie he wrote that was his script and he held onto it until he got his money he's the best
The scene where de Niro talks to his young son, coming out of the social club, after giving sonny's money back.... One of the purest, most authentic dialogue in any movie.
yes thats one of the most emotional, intense and authentic scenes in cinema history, let alone delivering a very precious lesson.
Chazz is on Good day rt now sept 7,2022. I like him he looks like a good guy. But father time is a mother fucker and his right hand man the grim reaper. He coming for all of us eventually. Need i mention Ray Liotta. He got him in another country, so you know theres no where to hide.
True 😊
Oh yeah as a father I teared up.
scenes like that make you want to get into uneven fights. Can be a problem but a great scene.
“A Bronx Tale” is one of those rare cinematic treats that you can watch multiple times and you discover something new every time. It is certainly among the pantheon of all time great mob movies.
So true. Having learned it was adapted from a stage show, had me wanting to see it. I've always wanted to see the play.
Absolutely!
I love mob movies and series I've already watched Godfather trilogy, Goodfellas, Donnie Brasco, The Sopranos and now A Bronx Tale think you can give me recommendations?

The Untouchables is good too
"Now youse can't leave." Best line ever.
Even though it's a mob movie, that was a stunning line at the time.
Fun fact, some of the bikers in the bar scene were Hells Angels. Greg Domey was one of them.
Kind of like “ hey homey, is that my briefcase”......total reversal of fortune
“They knew right then that they’d come to the wrong bar...”
Not even in the top 10,000
What I love about Mike's style of interviewing is that he lets his guests talk as much as they want, as a good host should
Because he knows he’s interesting
He isn’t insecure like all these clout chasing weirdos
He’s already lived such a full life
He makes for a great interviewer
no, Alex Jones is the best interviewer!!! lol jk
@@JacaboBlanco clout chasing doesn't make sense in this context 😂😂😂 not letting someone speak isn't clout chasing, it's just stupid and makes for a horrible interview.
This isn't... rare😂😂😂
true. and by this standard, Piers Morgan is the worst!.. because all he does is ask a question, get faux triggered as soon as the interviewee starts talking, then rants his own opinion instead of listening. People need to master the art of listening.
Loving this interview with Chazz. He literally seems like the neighborhood uncle everybody loves.
Chazz has a ton of Charisma and wisdom. A class act. Michael Franzese is a very talented guy. He makes you feel you are part of the interview.
Loved that movie 🍿 the car door test for the ladies 😂
YOU MEAN THE MARIO TEST ?
😝😝.
Mario is crazy!
@@greensark2417 hahah yeah that was it
I’ve actually used the car door test 😂
"Now yous can't leave." All time best line in American Cinema history
@Larry Love I wish I had thought of that. I did, however, apply "the test" once on a first date. She failed. In her defense, though, it could be that people just assume all door locks are automatic these days.
“Now go get your fucking shinebox” that was the best
Nah.
What about "bagess, we don need no bagess, we don need no stinkin bagess"?
no question.
Franzese is older than Palminteri. Guy looks incredible for his age!
Genes... His Dad lived till 103.
Hes only a year older lol
Love this. Chazz: My dad was a bus driver for 30yrs... --- Michael: My dad drove for 44rs... Chazz: My dad was never late for work for 30yrs... --- Michael: My grandfather was... ---- Classic!!!
like little kids lol
This is pretty much how old dudes talked ive been around old family in the northeast they talk aboit the past like this lol
would’ve been hilarious if they found out they were speaking on the same person, and they were uncle and nephew 🤣🤣
Just like Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker in Rush Hour about their dads😂
"The more you champion other people, the more life comes to you." Great line, Chazz!
Great words. Older i get, more this rings true
My favorite part as well
What does that mean
@@harryayres9452 The older I get, the more I found that if I supported people, whether the ones I'm on the train, or people I care for through the phone, the more people will cheer you on. When you're kind to the world, have faith the world will be kind to you, my child. You are the world you give. Have faith in me, in my words. I promise you the world is kind. Don't be scared. Have faith.

You’re absolutely CORRECT 🙌
I used to be a trouble soul, I didn't respected my father's hardwork. After watching chaz repeating the line "waking everyday in the morning going to work that you didn't like to do, but you do it for the love of your family". That line hit me hard and make me realise I was so wrong and I am a better man today and I realise my father's a tough guy. God bless Michael and chaz. 🙌
A Bronx Tale is my all time favorite Mob movie. Just an absolute timeless work of heart.
The movie "A Bronx Tale" has only gotten better with time. It's a classic now.

This has to be my favorite interview thus far. You two, both italian, lived in the same area, practically the same age, knew alot of the same people, you both have alot in common which made this feel like two old friends who haven't seen eachother in decades shooting the breeze, which i really enjoyed.

Chaz nailed it when he said Italians r jealous of each other and dont stick together.he is so spot on.ive said the same thing for 30 years
The best line from the movie for me
" I was getting two educations one from school and one from the street so I'd be twice as smart as everybody".
when people talk about the greatest mob movies, they always leave out a bronx tale......it was such an amazing stretch of film that blows away anything being made today...................
The soundtrack is phenomenal, too😎
Exactly!!! A Bronx tale is always left out! Definitely one the best quotes in a movie !
His hair suddenly grew back.. 😲
It wasn't exactly a mob movie, it was more about the bus driver loving his job and being on the straight and narrow amongst bad influences. Why he was strict with his son and his son soon realised after being roughed up by sonny and his so called friends were racist too.
Like he said, "it had a documentary feel", because it was so real. It was/is a masterpiece.
The cops coming up to the apartment to find a witness to the shooting. I think I read they were real cops.
Everything about this movie is a masterpiece.
Just two wholesome Italian men having a light chat about life and past works. With class.
I always liked Mr. Palminteri's elegance. God bless you, Sir.
What makes A Bronx's Tale different in my eyes, is the focus on daily life in the neighborhood, the mob was there but its the regular Italians, honest working people , making it in America, instead of just portraying all Italians as mafia. Joe Columbo would be proud.
“My grandfather was a better bus driver than your dad” 🤣🤣🤣
They was going back n forth 😂😂😂😂😂forgot this was a interview.
Lol yea I peeped that. Michael kept saying that 44 years compared to Chazz 30 years😭
The fact that Chazz is younger than Michael is something my mind refuses to comprehend
I like how Michael never brought up Bob DeNiro in the list of actors he mentions, & the first thing Chazz does is Bring up Bob & shows him all the respect he deserves and more
Micheal is a Joe Pesci guy Cleary.

Michael is a natural conversationalist,
He'd have been amazing having a talkshow syndicate
When he calmly closed the door and locked it, Then said Now you can't leave. One of the best lines in cinema history. I saw him in person and was afraid to approach him for an autograph. He was that great in that role.
Chazz Palminteri is the man!!
"Now you's can't leave"
My favorite line from bronx tale.
My father working in a pizza shop in the late 80s with italians (hes hispanic) he really enjoyed his time there and had good times with some of the guys there and he always told me that the italians are the most democratic/respectful people you'll ever meet. Racism exists in ever race, not just in whites I've seen latinos being racist towards asians and blacks and vice versa, racism is taught not inherited.
That's cool, but that was HIS experience and that last part doesn't really mean anything---we already know racism exists in every race, so what's your point? Only one race has ever been able to use race as a weapon to maintain control and power historically. Look up Yusef Hawkins sometime. I bet he would disagree with you on some of your points.
@@theshoestringstrangla5547 have you been to the north east??? It's not as racist as it once was 50 years ago, I know lots of friends n family living over there they're democratic states and most of the italian politicians there are for immigration n dont agree with a wall. Ofc there are racists who evry race has racists in them, racism is taught like I said.
@@skxlter5747 babies are racist. Racism or in group preference is something we are born with.
italians r not democratic i can tell u thst
Too bad in todays world whites are the only ones blamed for it. Agree with your statement though that's reality.
Chazz is a true professional. Keep the interviews coming Michael, we all enjoy your work.
Chazz is the best. A Bronx Tale is one of my favorite movies ever. Probably watched it 100 times. So many great life lessons to live by, great quotes, great story and soundtrack.
Chazz is a legend. He’s pretty intimidating in the movie Bronx Tale.
Chaz has that voice you'll listen if he gives you life advice.
The talk on racism was great. That line in the Godfather always haunted me, but it's based on reality especially seeing the crack epidemic; and the implicit acceptance of devastating those communities from law enforcement down to the drug dealers and everybody in between, including the mob.
The nickname story is great. There was a 10 year old kid, in my neighborhood, that got a haircut and it look like peach fuzz to one of our friends, so he called him Peach. He is a grown man now and people still call him Peach. And as I'm thinking about it, I still can't remember his real first name. I just call him Peach :)
I love Chazz Palminteri`s positivity he and Michael together is inspiring they both have had eventful lives to say the least.
He rarely ever gave any interviews to anyone. Great job Michael.
Chazz has own podcast and done interviews w/ comedians like Chris Distefano, Are you Garbage podcast, etc..

21:30 It was funny to me that Chaz hesitated naming “Chin” Gigante and actually pointed to his chin like Genovese members had to do when talking about him
In his role as Sonny, Chaz was a dead ringer for my favorite uncle is speech and the way he carried himself during that period of time in American.
