Buckeye fan here. going to try and get out there for the game next year. how do duck fans treat visiting fans? any advice for visiting eugene for a game?
As a Longhorn fan who randomly chose to go to a Oregon in September against Colorado. I’ve never been to Eugene before, I can tell you this. The game day experience is amazing. Autzen is super loud, according to my decibel reader on my Apple Watch it’s over double as loud as Texas memorial which seats almost double Autzen capacity. I enjoyed the game so much I bought a flight and tickets to another game (USC) Before even getting back to Texas. Be careful coming out there, you might become a Duck fan like me. Haha Also, book your hotel/airbnb months in advance. You won’t find a decent hotel for less than $500 a night close to game day. If they are not all sold out. One really cool thing that stood out to me at the game was that after the game they allowed every fan down on the field. Not a field storming, but a methodical filing down the stairs all around the stadium to get down where you get to spend 20-30 minutes walking around seeing some players and taking in what makes Autzen such a special stadium. Kids playing catch, people trying to kick field goals and awesome picture opportunities. Nobody answered you so I thought I would haha
@@PhilipJolly thank you, much appreciated. that's good to hear. we're working our way through seeing Ohio State play in every big 10 stadium, and now 4 more have been added to the list. going to an opponent's stadium can be very tricky. some opposing fans can be very nice (nebraska and minnesota), and some not so much (xichigan and penn st). was really hoping oregon fans were more on the nice end of the spectrum. eugene looks like a beautiful area. might have to stay out there a couple of extra days to check it out. never been to the pacific before.
@@brian_abn definitely stay a few days and take a drive up or down the Oregon coast. You won’t regret it. As a Texas fan, see you in 2025 at the Shoe. 💪
Have never been to Oregon but I will be coming up to autzen to see Ohio State smack Oregon again in 2020 lol. Am actually excited to get to see another new stadium I haven't been to yet and meet some Oregon fans
@@briancrawford69 Oregon hit 127 decibels in 07 vs the trojans. Ranking #4 in the nation. Ohio state stadium record isn't even in the top 20. The stadium design doesn't allow it to be able to reach record-breaking noise levels. Michigan and Penn state cracked the top 10 though. Penn state hit 122 decibels ranking 6th in the nation. Michigan hit 110 decibels ranking 10th in the nation
What's your favorite part about gameday?

anyone knows any good game-day bars. I am going to the BYU game and want a nice drink before and after the game.
What is the name of this music 7:04
That would be "Louie Louie", a marching band staple.
This is so bad ass
I hope to see Wrestlemania someday go to Auztin Stadium

54,000 ( ? ) for a division 1 Football team to play in....? What the hell is up with that ??? 🤔

Ok Brian
Seats 54 but I went to a few games we had easily over 60 thousand. Plus oregon only has 4 million people that's less than Los Angeles
Don’t underestimate Oregon
@@johnerkeneff5943 ohio state would be a fool to underestimate Oregon. That's just one man opinion so dont just us buckeye fans with one man opinion
This aged well……
It only seats 54,000?
Yeah but very loud. It was like 4th in decibels. Higher than the buckeyes who holds over a 100,000
Not louder than reser stadium
