The Solar Plant didn't work because of the water, then it worked because it had water and then it stopped again because it wasn't able to get rid of the used water :D SEWAGE GOD DAMNIT XD
think they added night cycle to the game with one DLC/expansions Some players are making control sewage hydro power, make a valley that the sewage pump pushes into and feed into the dam powered by the pump with the solar.
In my opinion the Park Life DLC has been the best one yet, it's just so fun to make parks all around your city! And it's even more fun to see someone else do it haha. Also James, the custom trees don't affect the ground in the parks, if you place non custom trees the ground actually gets more green with every tree you place. Don't know if that effects anything else though. anyway, thanks for another episode! :D ALSO: the solar updraft requires water(!!!)
The suburb looks good and realistic. Thank you so much for putting a basketball court next to the high school making it look much more realistic too. I also appreciate putting general industry in your town and the oil industry where the map placed it. One of the constraints I like to put on myself to make it more of a game is trying to use as much of the resources (oil, forest, agriculture) as possible to add realism and it helps to remind me that high density zoning should generally be used for city centers (city, town, village and shopping) which transitions into neighborhoods with medium to high density zoning and then suburbs which are mostly low density (again, outside of city/town centers) which transitions into rural fringe and rural areas. I think the city is looking real good.
Please do continue the tram line down the main road, especially as it's going to feed the downtown area!! You can always move that loop you made further down, or keep it as a short-turn terminus. Better use of buses would be to connect the tram line to the new oil area.
Have the elementary school with a playground, have the school at the end of a road, and don't surround it with high density buildings. Also you should've continued the tram line: don't remove the turnaround, instead have 2 lines. One will turnaround, the other will continue. The beachfront will be significantly more popular compared to the cliff face. This happens in real transport systems.
Hey Flabs , just a suggestion for future city extensions, but instead of making huge industrial areas, try spreading around lots of small industrial areas, this will mitigate major traffic jams into the industrial areas and it is more realistic to real life city design. IDK just an idea
The spot by the tram turnaround where you can't zone is probably because you moved the police station using moveit, so the game still sees the police station there.
I think the More Beautification mod is messing with the menus which makes the foliage category disappear. You don't really need the mod anyway since the vanilla game has props included now.
Thinking of building a pc mainly for this game, using a fair amount of mods and assets, so would a gtx 1070ti and an Amd Ryzen 5 1600 be enough for running the game with the 81 tile mod? Do I need a better processor?
The reason your solar updraft tower wasn't working was because you Arnt making enough powe to power the sewage so it isn't working completely effectively
You keep forgetting to use no road collision it works for everything those path you place around the tram roundabout would get deleted if you use road collision off

OMFG I got so frustrated he wasnt figuring that out LOOOL
I rewatched it again and I still get frustrated with this
the updraft did not work because of the noi sewage problem
Because ... the power wasn't connected when he removed the coal power plants!!!
think they added night cycle to the game with one DLC/expansions

Nick Nevco does the dam spit out poo water if you do this?
I don't know never made it myself was looking why the solar is broken now.
You needed to fix the sewerage for the solar updraft tower.

the grasses you are looking for are in the rocks category

The tower wasn't working because of, guess what, s e w a g e
I have an idea, and I think most will agree. Atherton should go 100% eco-friendly. Meaning use only renewable resources for power.
great idea

the solar updraft tower was fine, you just weren’t providing it with services! it had a sewage symbol right on it!
The spot by the tram turnaround where you can't zone is probably because you moved the police station using moveit, so the game still sees the police station there.
This is my favorite on-going cities skylines series, thanks for making great and entertaining content!
I love how you put trees that wouldn’t grow right next to the beach....right next to the beach 😂
I saw the thumbnail and I thought gorgeous.
The first few minutes sums up the worlds energy debate.

That entire trolly area thing you did is the greatest safety hazard iv ever seen in my life.
James your sewage problem was the reason you couldn't have your solar power working XD
*SEWAGE GADDEMETT* (not angry attt all)
the solar tower didn't work because the powerline disconnected thats why the power was jumping all over the place lol
give water to your updraft tower !!! pay attention FLAB! lol the sewer icon was right on top of it ! hahah
If they have them you may want to replace the current trees with palm trees at your The Palms amusement park.
Yaay, seen enough dino's now. Just watched the movie, it's awesome. A big recommendation!
Don't replace all houses with big buildings and keep the town the way it looks. It looks great btw
I love the machine gun - like sound of placing trees
hello James, i hope you’re having a great day
REALISTIC POPULATION MOD!!!!
OH NO!!! 19:18 ROCKS..

About damn time! Been waiting for a new video!
You: natural sea wall
Me, a Geography student: Rip rap!!
Sewage. Flabs it is not unreliable. Where are your drains? Fix it next time. Finally do not hide the issues.Just fix them.

What is the bird at the top of the screen
And a bridge to terabithia towards that way
Park life=best life
Wait what for some reason I went into this episode thinking this was Jurrasic World lol was SO tripped
When is the next sedona coming out
The reason your solar updraft tower wasn't working was because you Arnt making enough powe to power the sewage so it isn't working completely effectively
I was so mad when he got rid of the solar plant bc it was fine, just needed sewage. 😂
I bet Cliffy B would be super honored to have a district named after him in Flabalikis city not that he ever would find out but still lol xD …...
I love how there are no palm trees on the beach
You keep forgetting to use no road collision it works for everything those path you place around the tram roundabout would get deleted if you use road collision off
It looked nice the way you decorated the tram turn around but it was also a waste of time and contradictory to you building it as temporary
He's making wonderwarf from bobs burgers lol
Dam it's a dam you need
James use palm trees at the beach!!
Natural Sea Wall-Basically a cliff?
The amusment park should be cheaper!
Tebios Tobak it should be more equipped that’s what it should be
Anybody notice he placed the trees on concrete
I’d like to point out that that is not a sea wall, it has a different name. In england at least we call it rip/rap
Joshua McConville we call it a sea wall in the US
Bournda national park
Love your vids but bring back planet coaster!!!!

Flab go back to Software inc! The game is much more realistic, smoother and just general better, if you liked it in 2015, it will blow your mind!
