I have 4 Cocktails. 1 has a permanent full up crown that doesn't move. And when they pick up the water bowl and bang it around they really want something. Also I have 1 more thing I learned. 1 rescue bird that was never out of the cage. Took him a month to even sit in the doorway. I learned that when you grab him you get this thick red stuff on your finger where his beak was, he is not happy. More scared.
@@flockclock4080 Yes they are. I hand raised 3 of them. But the rescue male had never even been touched. He is very mellow, I can now stroke his back but that's it.

Hi..i can absolutely do that, will start working on it...and about the sleep 💤 i think it's probably because of the surrounding and their routine....maybe where they are sleeping,it is very loud or bright or near window where cars are always passing by...all this can disturb them ...they need a quite dark place to sleep or maybe they are not just tired enough to go to sleep...give them exercise..time to play with toys or flying time if possible right now.... But their poop is really green, so im very worried about that... and also, do u possibly know why one of them likes going into the top corner of the cage and just sits there sometimes? Thankyou soo much🥰 green poop woth white cream on top😅 is a good sign that your bird is healthy just make sure its not watery...and birds like to be at a high place...it makes them feel safe from any harm and he is a baby so it might be his sleeping place🥰

@@SugaaKat it means the bird has diarrhea...a bird can get diarrhea because of stress or bad diet or any kind of infection or watery fruits or vegetables like too much cucumber or watermelon or too much lettuce🥬... If your birds has too much watery poop then maybe a vet can help😊
Cockatiels stretch their wings after waking up from sleep or before a flight or when they dont get enough flying and exercise...as you bird is a baby i think its because they sleep more...and does she sleep ls on the bowl? If soo then its her sleeping area and if she just stays on it the bowl then it might be a hormonal behaviour...either take out the bowl or provide with toys..so she dont get bored,hope it helped🥰
Maybe someone can help me. I got my Tiel shy from 2 weeks ago. Within 3 days he got used to me having my Hands in his cage. He wasn’t bothered. My boyfriend let him out of his cage and after few hours I tried to get him back. Since ever then he starts to hiss at me and don’t accept my hands in his cage anymore :( He still will eat from my hand but every wrong move he just hisses. I’m so hurt I feel like he hates me now.
Maybe when you took him out..something might happened that scared him and now he sees your hand as a threat. you have to be paitent .....just dont force him to do anything or else he might feel scared..just give him sometime and work on him again...he will feel same after some time...make sure to give your hand as a friend not something that will harm him.😊it might take months to regain trust. So all the best🥰 also you might try target training to calm him or get him back in his cage..hope this will help

It's difficult to discern sounds when background tunes are playing yet alone louder and bass and treble driven ouch.
Im new on this and my cockatiel sometimes start running in the cage so I was scare of that now I know what it means
