Hi loves! I wanted to bring in my boo Sam to get up one last prom look for you guys!! Sometimes it can be hard to recreate my looks because I have some extra lid space. I wanted to show you that you can do any look its just all about placement of shadows!! I always recommend looking down & straight into your mirror, that way you can see where your natural crease is. Also because now you can see how far you want to extend the shadows without it looking like "too much". I hope you enjoy this video!!! We had fun making it for you guys!

Carls you are a true makeup ARTIST! The word is essential here because wow, you really do think deeply, creatively, and critically about how to make another person's face shine the most. It's easy to forget how much knowledge this practice takes since you know your own face so well and you're not voicing that in your regular tutorials. I know it's probably more difficult for you to arrange but I'd love to see you continue using all sorts of different models! I think it could really take the channel to a new place. Love as always. xx

Thank you Carli for doing this look on smaller eyes! I am SO envious of you, and others who have big beautiful eyes! But I realize I just have to work with what I have! Go above the lid and the crease a bit - what a great idea! And I just had falsies on for Easter, and was wondering why I didn't like them on me, and now I know why! - they were too overpowering for my small eyes! I will be cutting them and placing on the outer corner!

she looks beautiful and I'm impressed with your makeup skills on another person! i don't let anyone look at their makeup until im done either since it always looks weird before it looks good! lol the only thing i wouldn't have done is put secret camouflage under her eyes, that's such a heavy concealer, not really meant for under the eyes but she has such awesome skin that it didnt matter, beautiful though!

Haha this video helps me loads. I finally get how to do makeup for my eyes. Usually I use a light colour on my lid and then the darker shades in the crease and outer v area but really in pictures or real like you can't see any of it , I think it's best if I do it like this video, kind of getting darker as you work your way out. Oh and this may just be my knew way of doing liner too, going back with the dark shadow over and above the wing. It will totally disguise how liner looks crap because of my heavy lid. So ya this video is all kinds of awesome, thank you so much!

I also would love to see you do a cut crease on smaller eyes video since not all of us have such huge eyes as you do! But I watch your videos just because you always look so gorgeous after you do your different looks!
Please show a similar look with similar colors with drugstore products. I have small eyes and a small budget and would like to see what I can use for drugstore products.

could you make a video where you will tell us about the same colors from naked3 pallete, but from the drugstore makeup, may be it might be cheaper. I really like this make up look, but cant afford me the naked3
I never wanted to pay for it either, but if you think about it drugstore eyeshadows are 5-10$ each and these pallets are $60 but you get 12 shades. It just seems pricey because its a lot at once! A friend just saved $10-15 a week until she saved enough for it! :)

So I consider myself to be really good at face makeup and having flawless foundation but when it comes to eyeshadows I feel so hopeless. I do have smaller hooded eyes, not terrible but still hooded. I'm trying to find an eye look for prom so I've been watching so many tutorials but I feel like everything I do looks wrong and I feel like I don't have enough eyelid space. How are you so perfect at it??

Love u and this look. Any recommendations on a round face shape? Meaning for bronzer and blush. I am doing my friend's prom makeup and she has a round face with high pigmentation in her cheeks. Suggestions welcome by anyone!
Definitely make a very bold but blended contour and the pigmentation of her cheeks should ne demured by the foundation :)
