Well it more bc kat attacked the paint where he's been effective even with lively there its just kat kept chucking 3s so his % are terrible but that ant attack the paint also and gafford had 3 blocks not like they have no paint protection so this is more about the wolves not bailing the mavs out by chucking up shots and attacking the rim
@@thunderclapgod2363 with Gafford on the bench with mavs playing kleber and Powell as backups, wolves have an easier time attacking the basket.. with lively back those percentages will go back down for sure

Yessss! everyone is taking the wolves again 😂 when everyone was taking them The mavs were winning. Let’s hope this trend continues, I don’t see the mavs losing back to back games in the playoffs.. and let alone luring letting the wolves steal another one of his clutch game situations. And the wolves switched up some things game 4 and kinda surprised Dallas, now Kidd has seen those switches I have no doubt as soon as that game was over he knew exactly what changes to make schematically. And kyrie and Luka both had a bad shooting game.. everything went right for the wolves, idk if that happens again, I think the mavs come in Minnesota and win another close game by 2 to go to the finals. Mavs mental mindset is gonna be a lot different coming into this game compared to last
How did you not mention the absence of lively? He makes the offense much more dynamic with the short pick and roll since MN blocked off the lob threat for the most part, passing out of those pnr, massive rim protector and rebounder. I don't think MN would have had a chance in game 4 with him, It was the same story in the regular season, when Lively was out the mavs looked like a different team for the worse. I think mavs win by 8+ tonight
What TNT needs to fix is not having you there. No disrespect but if it’s the last few shows I don’t want the chemistry of those guys being messed up. And it is
Game 4 was the biggest moment. They had to win and to have enough time to recover and be ready for the final. The fact is that Wolves did not play so well. Luka has to be more egoistic and Kyrie has to start moving and scoring. I did not count Lukas passes when he had an opprtunity to shoot and instread he did not and instead he just passed the ball to somebody else.
Kyrie cant be, and doesnt like to be sprinting all game though, he needs to conserve for the fourth at least a little. i want them to use drays Idea but have Hardy bring the ball up. he has the youth, energy, and tenacity.
Warriors not making the playoffs set Draymond up for succes. This mf’s IQ is as good as mine. Nice work. It’s like straight forward IQ😂😂. No beating around the bush, I can only imagine having this man as a teammate. Hall of Fame easy.
i've. been saying this since all year kyrie works best in transition but luka like to slow the tempo too much if you want kyrie to be more effective in the offensive end send him the ball on the break
Luka constantly gives him the ball in the defensive end with the option to bring it up as fast as he wants and he didn’t make a single shot off of it last game. This psychotic need to blame Luka for everybody else when they have a bad game is just ridiculous. Kyrie had 33 points in the exact same offense the game before. I saw him missed two laps, and turned the ball over twice in the lane trying to make a crazy interior pass through traffic. Meanwhile because he’s not scoring, Luka has to find ways to make difficult baskets, then everyone complains he takes too many shots and his shooting percentage wasn’t high enough. 28/15/10 while barely anyone else broke into double digits, let alone had a double / double.
@@SDesWriter being the main facilitator of the team you harbor the responsiblity of know your teammates personnel and giving the ball to them where they are best suited to score (hot zones). Thats what it means to be true point guard. Given luka's ball dominant nature and high usage rate i think he's better suited to play the 2 and have kyrie operate the 1. Throughout most of the playoffs they've been operating under kyries brand of basketball and when they build cushions or get comfortable they revert to that pick up brand of basketball in luka which is not sufficient. If Im luka I would try to get kyrie going as much as same way kyrie does for his teammates. Luka is nothing short of spectacular and Im not knocking his abilty to put the ball in the hoop, but the nature of his game is sometimes harmful to his fell stars or teammates. Kyrie being able to perform is more of a testament to the player he is and his talent level. Luka and and Kyrie rarely play off of EACHOTHER. There is absolutley no reason why the have to split the game in to 2 halves when they shoud be complimenting each other throughout the entire course of the game. Any one that knows hoop or played knows what Im talking about
@@ronniebenson6107 OK what you just said there’s no relation to the truth. It’s literally completely false. First of all, Luka is number two in assists in the league this year. Kyrie has never in his career been close to those numbers so he’s not a facilitator the way Luka is. Neither of them are spot up shooters but Luca gets Kyrie the ball in a position to score all the time and as he showed in game one, Kyrie doesn’t take the first half off to allow Luka to score. It’s just made up nonsense. Luka plays on a team that has two centers who can’t score more than 2 feet from the basket, a power forward who is streaky but completely useless when he’s not hot, and a small forward with a career 8ppg average. His bench is actually worse at scoring. This I nsane belief of yours that all he has to do is give them the ball in a position that’s good for them and they’ll score since none of them have ever scored in their career at a mediocre level, let alone high-level. All of them score more now than they did wherever they came from. Luka isn’t a spot up shooter so he literally can’t be a number two or all of his scoring effectiveness would disappear. He’s a much better passer than Irving and sees the floor much better than Irving.
