The amount of cope for Ant is insane. Where was this story when Luka got to the WCF in 22? He was about the same age as Ant and there was no narrative about the team being young, or tired.
Wolves got 2 all-stars, 4-time DPOY and 6th man of the year and had the best defense all season long including in the play offs, but they're young and inexperienced?

@@penkima4923 I Have watched all of his playoff runs and I wouldn't say that. He was injured, and slowly healing his knee at the start of the playoffs. His defense is way better, and yes stats aren't as high but he is sharing the ball more and has trustful teammates now. His usage rate and lack of speed in transition in previous playoffs always led him to be a one man show most games. I prefer this Luka, he can still take over a game as we just saw

Clearly you don't remember those Nets well at all. This Boston team has an elite offense maybe only 2 teams in the league can match, to go along with one of the top 2-3 defenses. That Nets team struggled to score 93 points and can't touch Boston from 3. NJ avgd about a 4 points differential over 3 seasons while Boston avgd. 120 PPG w/ an 11.4 point differential this season.

Is it just me, or is everyone underrating the Mavs? This team is legitimate, I don't think it's far fetched to say Dallas wins in 6. Boston has a lot of depth and quality players across the board, but something about the Celtics feels too finesse for my liking.

By deferring to each other, Ky and Luka both get better. Luka gets a little rest and Ky does not have to manage the whole game and draw the best defenders. Ky, like the rest of the Mavs, is living off Luka's gravity and game-making. Luka's assist numbers are high because they are quality dimes that convert -- he doesn't just throw to the open guy, he patiently serves it on a silver platter!

Luka def has been amongst the top 5 players since he arrived. Thats why he has been 5 times all NBA. Is he better then Joker or Embiid, Giannis etc. You always can make an argument for it and to me this year he was the MvP. But was there sufficient an argument against Shay or the Joker? All these guys are so good, so regular season success and track record comes into play. I take Luka any day and the only guy i prefer over him is Steph.

The differencebetween Luka and Edwards is that if luka had Ant's supporting cast at 22 then Luka would already have a title. It's like LeBron in Cleveland or Iverson with the sixers, if either of them had Ants supporting cast, they would have had a title in their early 20s.
