- I brought an old friend back to life again. All it took was taking everything apart, replacing the battery and hitting the reset button, then putting everything back together.

Just the other day I was looking at details of this piece (a suitable pocket watch, custom medallions) and I almost fainted when I saw the price of the watch itself! One day I'll get the guts to make a replica of my own
It's a valuable watch to collectors it would seem.

Always loved the medallion you got for that. Megatron cast that didn't he? I still need to finish my McCoy watch. I have the guts and a vintage hunters case but I never got it together. So much of life gets in the way like that. XP

@@Greatwazoo42 Yeah, I gotta modify the faceplate and make the buttons and remount the hardware into the casing and paint he cover. I planned to use the original face and rig a mount from inside to hold the guts in place.

Where did you get the seal on the front and how do they put it on the front of the watch
I had a jeweler friend of mine make it to the exact size needed. I attached it with 2 part steel apoxy.

@user-my5zj9md6k cool! I hope they turn out great! The way I did this one is I had the digital watch with me to shop for pocket watches the right size, then supplied measurements and images to a friend whole sculpted and cast the Seal. After that it was just gut the pocket watch and install/attach everything. With 3d printing now it may be easier to make a Seal.
