Outlander Peter did mention a very interesting take on his departure of the show. He also emphasises it as a "death" rather than a regeneration. It also seems mad that for someone who adores doctor who and loves working with the show to want to leave so quickly. It's definitely a significant theory that he may keep his face after regenerating! There's also rumours that Matt Smith may return, Matt released a statement saying leaving Doctor Who was one of his biggest regrets. Also on the 50th, Tom Baker did mention that he may "revisit a few, but just the old favourites" (talking about the doctors many faces) meaning it's possible for him to re-regenerate into a previous incarnation. I wouldn't mind Matt returning at all, however, it wouldn't allow the show to take on a new actor. The whole thing is a win/lose debate.
+Outlander Matt was great and I feel guilty for liking him a tad more than David. It would however be great to see him back in action for a few more series' and with a new writer. David was my Doctor, but Matt was my fav.
+Outlander Wish I could of met him, loved his role as the doctor and loved seeing him in movies. One of which he starred in alongside William Hartnell, I believe it was called "Will Any Gentlemen?". I recommend it! This was pre Doctor Who for both actors if I remember correctly.

I loved this video Jake, as it brought back so many memories for myself! Your delight in wandering around the set and meeting people reminded me of the time a friend of a friend gained a small group of us Who-Fans access to BBC Television Centre back in 1993, when they were filming Ghostlight. I got to touch the Tardis and the console ("Squee" I believe is the current expression of otherwise unexpressible joy), was surprised by the amount of sawdust and loose screws on the studio floor, and watched Sylvester McCoy perform from the editing booth (or whatever they call it)... Thank you so much for sharing your experience, and for bringing mine back to the forefront of my mind. Bless you, Dude! LLAP :)

You would be such a fricking good Doctor. I mean just the way you walked around and maneuvered the stuff in the TARDIS was just so natural, and it really takes someone special to play the Doctor, and you're definitely a qualifier.

Deku Pawel he's had connections with BBC for years now, he did a Matt Smith impression back in 2014 or so that went viral when the BBC saw it and shared it. The Curator sketch was just something thrown into the mix.

As The Doctor, we see a young faced likeable persona too with the energy to be active and shouty, and at the same time all small and intimate, like in so many Matt Smith short films you have done.
