Wow! I just tried this in my 2016 S80 ( I recently purchased it). I always thought the "S" was for "Standard" mode... Wow! what an effin' difference! Talk about a nice push! Wasn't expecting this from an S80.

I own a 2014 V60 D4 , it has 260 000Km that would be about 200 000 miles US. Works like a charm, the only problem I have is door locks/central lockings... sometime they lor or unlock and it is random door or doors and sometime it works on all 4 so idk.

Ah Mounty. Question. Since 2015, how many engines have Volvo placed on the top ten engines in the world list? With the addition of a high performance engine comes increased maintenance cost. You know. The thing you like least about owning a BMW or Mercedes Benz.

@@AltonCrawford your looking at it wrong, when volvo was competing in racing and touring they were the king of the hill, very few breakdowns and punched way above their class and kicked ass sure may lagged behind truly high performance cars but considering even their racing cars are heavy as shit they really punched above their class pretty hard..especially true when they were racing the 850R's in british touring races, they were racing heavy ass wagons against purpose built sedans and they came out pretty damn far ahead!
as for engines, volvo overenginers things in the best way, BMW and Mercedes over engineered things in worst ways, in my opinion. i owned all 3 brand, Volvo engines last long, not compromised for longevity, like your thinking. they tend to e very underrated in power and torque numbers, i dont know if its a restraint thing from the swedes to say it has less so you happy to get more or just a volvo thing to not encourage stupid behavior but for example my XC70 T6 is rated for ~300 HP factory and at the crank. its AWD which means says ~20% loss in drivetrain for expecting 240WHP... however my wheel power on the dyno before i tuned it up a bit was 301 WHP which means assuming ~20% loss factory i was making over 60HP more at the crank than rated. and that was 2 years and 70,000 miles later! i dont think it applies same across the board but i do think volvo under rates their figures a bit and start to realize this when consider how heavy their cars are, like my wagon is 4,700 pounds, that's almost like an F150 truck weight, that's well above passenger car class weight where its categorized, yet it pulls like a sports car..

meehhhe Of You I have a 2013 xc70 t6 and I can confirm it’s heavy as a mf but pulls like a sports car, it’s honestly one of the best sleepers i’ve ever seen, if I found some ppl that wanted to run pinks I could win a car easy

@@10AGLIA In a 2018 or older Volvo V60 or S60, you will have to place the auto in drive. Then you will simply move or shift the gear shift to the left. This movement will place the 60 on sport/dynamic mode.
