Martial art of Yong opera (邕剧) of Guangxi

Yong opera (邕剧) is an opera form originating from Nanning (南宁) of Guangxi, which is also popular in Guangdong, Yunnan and Guizhou, as well as in southeast Asian countries like Vietnam and Cambodia. Yong opera got its name from Yongzhou (邕州), the ancient name of Nanning city. Though closely related to the Cantonese opera (粤剧) of Guangdong, Yong opera had also absorbed elements of Zhuang culture, making it a shared opera heritage of the Han and Zhuang ethnicities.
