Gabriel, back in 2010 I locked up the brakes on the mini van I was driving in the middle of BFE Nebraska. All because my co-driver was critiquing my driving, which was stellar but not to his "expectations"!! I Got out, walked to the passenger door, opened it and told the person sitting there " I will kill you, leave your carcass right beside the van for the buzzards and thumb my way back to Illinois. The look on his face was...."PRICELESS"! I get back in and just like Keifer Sutherland and Woody Harreleson in "The Cowboy Way" I tell him "If I hear a moan, hear a sigh, hear a grunt or hear a sideways glance, I will follow through with my intentions (Yes, that is exactly what I said) We had a full tank of gas and for the next 350 miles there was "nothing" and I do mean "NOTHING" from him. It got to the point I could not look at him for fear of breaking up laughing. Finally after 350 miles we stop for gas and it was his turn to drive that I apologized for blowing up. His response was a flippant remark which I responded "Don't think for a minute I will not follow through so zip your lip and body language"!! He buttoned up...... It was his van!!! We are still best friends, and he knows I am serious! LMAO
Yes Gabe you have to give Dave the driver props cuz he’s always punctual on getting you and your crew to every single show on time with no mishaps just like fueling up and stuff and also Dave always tells the truth and with honesty and is a neat freak of the tour bus he doesn’t like to be given the runaround and getting questioned about anything same with my tio he’s just like Dave and tells the ppl how it is there’s no other way around and doesn’t like ppl giving him shit or getting told off so yes I’ll remember that story of Dave

So I'm like, you know I am from California and do you know how the West, how the trailblazers went out west. They just started. No talk. Just went out on the trail, going to the unknown, always knowing with a quiet self-confidence and focus on the road taken that they and everyone in their group will reach their destination safely, kind of like the drive we're on. She was happy when I told her, you've arrived. Then the next Lyft I told the rider to learn about the OSS, which if you don't know means Office of Strategic Services, the name says so much. I told her how the Second World War was won.
