The original Airs had no holes they had mesh on the sides I still gotta pair from 2007 25th anniversary… Spring 83 they made the lo wit the silver stripe that was my first pair June '83..

My first pair of AF1 was the NIKE AIR FORCE 1 HI RETRO (2015) that were part of a pack that retros most of very firsts colourways, the leather quality of these is like premium so sweet and flexible but these are so big in the front, so I dont wear them but one time I'll find a way to put them in an good outfit
I grew up shopping at those stores Downtown locker room,Cinderella shoes and Charley Rudo shoes.only Downtown locker room is still around ,now it’s called just D.T.L.R
I remember when the Air Force one came back to Baltimore my other brother went downtown early in the morning to charley Rudo shoe store to get a pair

It’s how I feel with the “NIKE BRUIN LEATHER” from back to the future… for some reason Nike has never brought back that shoe. They would make a killing on the shoe market if Nike brought that timeless shoe back!

one major thing u mis informed other cities didjt jump on the bandwagon during the patition paul and harold bought all the reamining stock from nike then asked for other color ways and moved like that for a a while b4 other cities got on board with ordering af1s for their stores
