Lined up for the brush! Every farmer that I've seen that's put up those brushes is really talked positive about them and you can almost always see a cow brushing something, scratching something.
Adrian its nice to see the next generation having some old school values like looking after there tools of there trade. This young man is the future of farming its nice to see this young farmers ahead as he is at such a young age.
Great job. I screw an ordinary yard brush in the pens for goats. They love it. I then screwed them to an outside wall for the dog. She uses it everyday.
Fantastic video again. When I think of all the calves I pulled when young, if only someone had only taken the time to explain what we were actualy doing! It was always a case of pull no matter if needed or not. Great animal husbandry - warm water for the cow! A pleasure to watch.
Great video Adrian. It is always nice to see your girls helping you out on the farm. The calf’s look healthy hope all goes well with the rest of the cows. Keep up the good work. Have a great day!
Well Adrian must say u are a great man at calfing no stress on the cow at all lovely cattle, l love the smell of cows milk great farm and a great farmer, ground very wet hope u got rid of the flue , chat soon kieran from Laghey donegal town 👌
Another great video from the proudest farming dad in Cavan 👪👪 Deadly to see girls out helping with the calf feeding and enjoying a wee giggle and chat waiting on the calves to finish 😄😄 If I was only allowed one word to describe your content it woukd be, wholesome. Keep up the good work and look forward to next week's surprise.
Watch your videos every single Sunday, I like the way you do things, clean and tidy everything to hand and a herd of happy cows well minded and looked after, and I get to pick up a few little tricks along the way to add to my own daily routine
love the content, a real eye opener for me unfortunately they would all be my pets. every sunday i go to the countryside to drive past the dairy farm to see the cows and really did not know how much work was put in, so thank you for the insight. Bo is beautiful.
Great video again,it’s great to see your family involved, they are all a great help to you,and you should be very proud of them as they are of you, keep up the great work.
😃 Thanks for sharing the calving. 🐄 It wasn’t gory in the least. I’m glad they seem so healthy. I guess the brush worked the cows were on line to use it, lol 😂 Hope you have a good week. Your kids are big helpers. So sweet! 😁
Great video Adrian, it's great feeling getting new-born calves on the farm. Looking forward to seeing what u think about cow scratcher brush, knowing you what you saw will be what you think 👍
Was looking at getting those brushes for my cattle but one of the local lads has roadsweepers and he gave me four long brushes in exchange for a box of beer, banged some posts in and slipped the brushes over them, the cattle love to rub their heads on them, all the best to you and the family, stay warm 🇦🇺
Me And my wife watch the channel. She was overwhelmed with bow. It’s a Sunday ritual cup of coffee, put it on the TV. Happy days to the next one. I’ll see you then.
I think you should be a comedian for DIY. That bit putting up the brushes had me laughing so hard. You usually know exactly what to do but since there were no instructions, you winged it. Good thing Nicole was there to supervise you! Thanks for showing us that the cows were queuing up for a scratching. I know they were interested in what you were up to.
Glad to see Bo had a easy calf . Those pet cows are special and it's great when things go as planned . Hope she milks easy and look forward to seeing her in the parlor . See the cows lined up waiting for their turn to try brush out . Glad to see girls helping you out when ever they can.
They are starting in line to scratch their etch ! Good on your clipper man for providing the brushes. Calves are perfect size for your girls to care for them. Adrian your “give back” is the example set by you and your family. So positive and productive. Thank you for sharing. 🐄🐂
Great video as always, loved seeing the girls feeding the calves bet they love it as well, it didn’t take them cows long to work out what them brushes were for.
Love your content Ad However 😮 Michael fits Pactrick & Patrick fix Michael... you Never talk money or holidays! when does the Hols arrive surely you all need to get away, and I never see your sales? does that arrive all the time or from market... would love to see you all in the Sun Coming from a good Catholic lad Malcs... in Perth WA bought up in Brighton Sussex... Mum Dad from C.Waterford Duff Upper .. you broke my heart watching you do repair on water main under slab so cold but your concerns for your girls in shed so important they all so beautiful xx
Another great video Adrian 👍 good to hear calving going well, nice to see Bo with her first calf, how time flys ! Good to see brush up,and perfect to see family helping 🍻
Can definitely hear on your voice that you still have the flu, a very realistic video. Your animal husbandry is unreal, there a very positive vibe in all you do. Nicole seems to be a chip of the old block. Is Bó a red Friesian or Norwegian red Adrain
Good vid mate, nice to see somebody using a vink calving aid correctly- I always used to think of a bad calving, size wise, like fishing, reeling in a monster pike, slack, take it up, wait, let the cow do the work, poss a bit of pull, take the slack up etc. People who put the ropes on and pull pull pull away, the straight at 90 degrees to cow make me cringe, really do. The brush looks bang on to me. I put 2-3 that type put when I worked at reaseheath college, Nantwich, Cheshire, for the cows, that was 1989-1999- the cows loved them, plus some from the cow comfort guy, Irish firm who were just starting off. I had a lot of their cow mats in the cubicles, then yrs later some of their auto scrapers.
Ya I got taught that years ago when I worked on a farm after college, my father would of been over that gate in seconds to pull at it, very wrong. Auto scrappers are on my list for one day for sure. Thanks lad 👍
powerful video adrian. love calving time but also be glad when its over🤣. the famous bo has calved great job we all have watched her progress over the years on you tube.
Looks like the calving season has started off well, fingers crossed for the rest of it. your lucky the cows are so quite. we use a head gate from an old crush in the pen to stop them from moving round when trying pull the calves. Find it safer after the calf is down and checked. We can release the cow from outside the pen. The freshly calved cow is potentially the most dangerous animal on a farm.
Hi Adrian, a little trick to hanging brush on wall is dill holes like you did. Then put bolts on to the brush and hammer home. It my feel like you need three hands 😉 you work it. Great calving show and love your set up. Fair play to Nicole gas 😃 👍 Keep the good work up.
It's great to see a heifer become a good cow good work. You should think of putting in a calfing gate we found if to be a life changer rather than strapping gates together. Another great video good luck on the rest of the calfing. 😁
Great content as always your talking about poor light take menace to when I was your daughters age I'd be out holding a lamp for my dad one two hundred watt bulb was the only light in the shed at the time 30 years ago few choice words would come your way if you weren't shining light were needed 🤣🤣
Another great video Adrian, great explanations as usual about the Calf job, funny how the cattle like those scratching brushes, great job mounting it but you were lucking you had small hands in the work force that made it a lot easier Adrian, does that mean double the wages this week, great job very enjoyable keep up the great work and good luck to the whole family
AHHHH Congrats to Bo and you on her new calf, it's nice to see, i remember when she was just a calf herself, and now she is a mom! Where does the time go?
Put up brushes the same style as them for the cows 3 years ago and ended up putting 2 more the next year for the yearlings and heifers, and am very happy with them, they are just something simple for the animals own comfort..
That my sir was another great vid. Nice to see yer daughter getting involved with all sorts and a real help on the farm. Moving the lights in the shed down the trusses towards the feed barrier would help with lighting the yard a little spreading the use of the lights when on. Just a thought.. stay safe 🏴
If you are giving cows a warm drink after calving it's worth putting in one of the after calving powders (Reviva, YMCP or similar). Gives the cow calcium and energy to get her going after calving.
Funny the cows all queuing up for a scratch... nothing like a good scratch
Well adrain I love watching your videos I never missed one I am Caroline Morris nephew
Ah good lad, I know who you are 👌👍
Boo is absolutely a beautiful cow

Love the craic between the two professional fitters… great job all round 🧹😂
No 8 till 4 or 9 till 5 for a farmer, its always 24/7 hands on, well done to all our farmers you really do work hard.
Great job. I screw an ordinary yard brush in the pens for goats. They love it. I then screwed them to an outside wall for the dog. She uses it everyday.
Great video Adrian and great to see Bo with her new calf 👌
Has trigger from only fools and horses been maintaining your calving aid along with his broom 😂😂

Them brushes are a great yoke, the weanlins here are never away from it
Ya our heifers are at them all the time, bit of comfort for them 👍
Fantastic video again. When I think of all the calves I pulled when young, if only someone had only taken the time to explain what we were actualy doing! It was always a case of pull no matter if needed or not. Great animal husbandry - warm water for the cow! A pleasure to watch.
Cheers Brendan 👍
Poor Nicole if she had someone too help her she's a very patient lady.🤣🤣
I have only seen the rotating brushes that the cows absolutely love
For me it's my favorite part. Get such a buzz calving cattle, there is just something magical bringing a life in to the world. I love rearing calves.
Great video Adrian. It is always nice to see your girls helping you out on the farm. The calf’s look healthy hope all goes well with the rest of the cows. Keep up the good work.

Great kids helping you out. The brush looks very popular with the heffers.

That’s sounds like a great deal Alan, a box of beer wouldn’t get you much in these parts but perhaps a good night out 🤣👍
Me And my wife watch the channel. She was overwhelmed with bow. It’s a Sunday ritual cup of coffee, put it on the TV. Happy days to the next one. I’ll see you then.
Cheers Ricky
You are blessed with wonderful helpers.
Jasus at the end there was a full line for the brush. U should start charging them for it make a few quid 😂

I think you should be a comedian for DIY. That bit putting up the brushes had me laughing so hard. You usually know exactly what to do but since there were no instructions, you winged it. Good thing Nicole was there to supervise you!

Keep the good work up.
Or drill one hole first put in the bolt level it and tighting it and then drill the other three it easier that way
That would of been the correct way in fairness, but sure we like the bit of hardship 🙈🤣. Thanks for the tip mate 👍

Nice video Mr. Morris. Looking forward to surprise get Sunday
There's a line to use the new brush! So funny....
