Riley (and/or anyone who participated on the editing) really nailed today's video. Like there are so many little things, and gags and there is literally an article about McGonagall's smile of the month!! He really took it to a whole new level, you go king!
Lockhart is wearing Forget Me Not Blue when he first meets Potter. He's really good at memory charms. He uses memory charms to take credit for what other wizards have done. He wants everyone to remember him as this great wizard. He accidentally wipes his memory in the Chamber of Secrets. Coincidence? I think not!!!
Lockhart sure is a lot about remembering. As Dumbledore said, there is a lot to learn & remember even from a bad teacher, what not to do, how not to be.
At first I thought why would he obliviate himself too for that. Then I understood that Lockhart can actually do that given his nature. Brilliant headcannon!

The broken arm question doesn't even really seem like a Lockhart question but rather a Harry's Injuries question, of which there could be an entire quiz and I'm very shocked that there isn't one.
My favorite sign of Lockhart's sense of self worth is in the Chamber Of Secrets PC game, where there are statues of Lockhart in the Rictusempra challenge, & strangely enough, even the Skurge Challenge (despite the fact that you learn that spell from Flitwick--but it's funny regardless). XD

36 is indeed a highly composite number (look it up), and there's a reason that historical philosophers and scientists chose numbers like 360 to represent the degrees in a circle, or 240 pence in a pound (currency, not weight). These sorts of numbers are just so much more mathematically useful than 10. Which, btw, is just one of the reasons I think it's a bit of a shame everything is gradually moving to metric.
I wonder if there's a counter for expelliarmus? Like it's the disarming charm, so I wonder if there's a counter curse or hex to either flip the charm back at it's caster or just negate it altogether. Like if there was a spell you could cast on yourself if you knew you were about to enter a duel or fight and the charm could protect you from being disarmed for a certain period of time.
10:45 they couldn't have done that because in the book they replicate the fish they catch, but every time you replicate it, it cuts the nutritional value in half
Regarding the question of what color ink does Lockhart use to answer his fan mail. Ben had the correct answer. In Chamber of Secrets, when Harry has detention with Lockhart, there is a shot of Lockhart signing pictures of himself where he is posing on a broom and he is signing his name in gold ink. I don't know how technical one wants to get but he may have autographed the pictures in gold and actually wrote letters in Lilac so in that case, both Ben and Jonathan would be correct.

I just kinda freaked out, bc my favorite number since 4th grade (im 26 now) is 48, and it is because it is so divisible and neat. Divisible by 1,2,3,4,6,8,12,16,24, and 48. And 4 goes into 8 twice, literally the same reasoning. Ive never met someone else with such an odd favorite number, but for Ben to give almost the exact same reasoning…. Wow.
Something I’ve always wondered. So when a wizard or witch “beats” another witch or wizard, their wand changes allegiance. When Harry beat Draco, although the elder wand was never in Draco’s possession, it’s allegiance switched to harry. So what happens with any future wands they get? If the current wand was won, what happens to any future wands they get to replace their lost ones? Does that wand automatically change allegiance as well or does a new purchased want start as a clean slate?
I actually went on wand wiki and found the following that explains some of your question (see further down) wiki also says wand and Witch/wizard learn from each other and through experience so my guess is if they lose allegiance of one wand it changes them and their experience so new wand would be clean slate (IMO and it's 3am so my brain is mush hope I explained my thoughts ok) From wiki a wand might be won from its master, and only then would its allegiance bend towards the new master. To win a wand, one must overpower and hence defeat its master in some way (this did not apply in situations such as practise duels, in which being disarmed or defeated would not affect a wand's loyalty). However, it should be noted that wands usually stayed loyal to their original owners. For example, even if a wizard was disarmed or lost a fight while carrying his wand, the wand would have developed an affinity with its original owner so that it would not be given up easily. Therefore, simply disarming a wizard might not be enough to win over a wand's allegiance. The only exception to this was the Elder Wand, which was "completely unsentimental" and would only be loyal to strength. In other words, when won, it switched its allegiance entirely.
