Better Fighting- Press the letter " O " and you will see you can make more than one squad. You can make an archery squad ( you have to know who has bows ) , an attack squad, and whatever else squad you want to make. After you make multiple squads you can press the middle mouse button to toggle between the squads this way you can put your archers where you want them. Loving the series
The issue i encountered with the recruit option from the army tab is that it only shows villagers from your main village,
I used that method, then i moved my army to an outpost closer to farnsworth and couldn't recruit then using O

Convert the wheat to Straw and Thatch. That's what you need!
For your stew issue, you have it set to have a top off of 10. That's 10 total in your storage. You only want to have one section for a top off for each just have that total higher because they will only make that many until that total is reached in your whole village. So if you want 40 of them made, put the top off at 40 and they will make sure that you never drop below 40 total
800 wheat .... lol. Set your production quotas to desired amounts of what you want to have in stock as in Top Up to X amount. This is good for consumables. Pro tip dont set your base near starting village. Set it by the south side of Crossroads near Fishmonger hut by the pond. You can have your Foraging hut be able to gather Hemp, Reeds, Flax, Sage, Garlic and mushrooms all around that area.
Another pro tip dont elminiate early game bandit camps. If you set your base south side of crossroads low level bandit patrols will cross corss your base area all the time. By day 20 I had finished researching all Tier 1 reserchable items AND I still had nearly 150 straps. By day 22 I had my Village Hall up and was researching Tier 2 stuff. The game wants you to use the Villagers to produce items. You should be running around, grabing resources that are harder to get, fighting and Hunting animals. Another pro tip, make friends with the Bow, once that is done, make love to the Bow, once that is done, become the Bow... finaly BE the Bow and you will have 0 porblems for meat, hunting Deer and taking out 3 to 5 man Bandit squads solo.
PS. Wait a day means wait 24 hours from when you spoke to the individual day before. If you spoke to them at 3pm you wiat to 3pm next day. Pro tip dont sleep at night. Game mechanics dont require it now why sleep? Keep forging, hunting and gathering items your Villagers are low on. Wood for example, logs etc. Why sleep waste of time and progres and the winters get longer deeper you get into the game. Pro tip regarding not sleeping IF you want to build a structure far away and avoid having your Villages lazily stroll across the map to try and help you wasting tons of time, build it at night while they sleep.
For cooking, making cob or anything for that matter you have to set the priorities to make them do what you want.
As for getting friendly with towns. Pro tip get the Vilage items researched found in tier 2. Building those Village items in Neutral villages gives you X rep with them. For example Herbal Hut gives 300 rep and is easy to make AND you can make multiples in same village. In fact once you put the resources into the que the Neutral Villages will build it on their own!
Set the cooking fire to only cook meat stew. I have 6 cooking pot fires and have 1 for meat stew, 1 for fine stew, 2 for mushroom stew and 2 for jam...keeps me topped off for my 15 person village
Kage research barns. You will be surprised by what it gives you. It is something you really need and it will help you a lot.

the cooking is definitely a little busted. my solution was just to make a bunch of cook pots and have each of them only making one thing.
They get river reeds. But your camp might be too far away. Have multiple cookpot fires and each one should be dedicated to one food. I do the fine stew, meat stew and berry jam. Also have a smoker and smoke your large meat and the fish you buy. Have your gatherer make dried berries. This gets me to food order. A good one (not the only good one, but a good one) is Dried berries, smoked fish, Large Piece of Smoked meat. Dried berries last a long time in storage and your inventory. Carry a few berries along and you'll keep your more perishable fish/meat dishes up as buffs.

I have a delivery setup for my mine. one way, it sends ore to my main. and another like once a week to send a replacement pickaxe to the mine. I'm not sure if its working properly or not. haven't paid enough attention to it. but I thought to do that instead of having them repaired, or running it there manually.

There are three meat stews. Do you have the one selected that matches the meat type you have?
Suggest having "tiers" of top offs. So exanple, set up to top off at say ..5 of each, then another set to top off at 10. That way they go through the first set to make sure there are 5 if available and once thats done, they'll go back through to get to 10. Sounds like it wouldnt male a difference but it really seems to help.

I think this may be one of those times you don't care but you should have. I think the difference is that the tiwn will produce or sell different stuff depending on who's on charge. So like if you have no issue getting one thing but difficulty getting another and you set the town so it produces what you don't need instead of what you do need. It could be an issue layer on.
I really gave no idea tho it seemed like the one guy was telling you what he was gonna do.
Because of your cooking problem, did you pay attention to your "top up to 10" setting in the cauldron campfire? They switch to next tasks if you have 10 somewhere in the chest, just pay attention to work orders to make them maybe as high as possible, like with the shift or ctrl key and top it up to 100. they can get river reeds, maybe its too far from your foraging camp,
but it might be broken ,
i know its early access, but some things that were supposed to be fixed aren't,
for example, im in the middle of liberating farnsworth and at the same dat, there is a big raiding party coming to farnsworth (too big i can handle :( ) and also a re-clamation party going to padstow and also bandit raid going...
i have 3 red clouds on the map, each going to a different direction... supposed to be a single raid/brigand party at a time :(
What happens if the reclamation is successful?

Didnt happen to me yet (i loaded a saved game before i built the bellright tower, and working on having a stronger army)
I assume the town just goes back to be under brigand control and tou need to liberate it again
you get extra renown for placing those trophies around your camp like 100+

The meat stew even though it has different ingredients most likely counts as the same meat stew so if you already have 10 or close to it they won't make the item. Part of what your missing based on how your videos portray is patience as I let my guy run on the settings I set up and don't change them every 5 minutes(you probably don't change them that often it's probably closer to 1hr but still) and they work nearly perfect they get all their jobs done. Even if they are idle I don't change their settings because I know they already do those task and therefore I don't have to keep double checking everything Everytime just to make sure it's working. Yes that means potentially lots of down time but it's a trade worth doing. Also guards are working just because you don't actually see them gathering resources doesn't mean they aren't working it means you can't see the actual numbers of slowing down raids and it will get to a point where it's what's more important resources or losing a potential good worker because if they get knocked out a second time while they are injured they will die
Damnit I want to buy so bad. It's everything I wanted. Medieval Dynasty, Life is Feudal, Kingdome Come (sort of)... but I learned from LiF that bad developers can lead to bad games.
This publisher just ruins one good game after another, so I just can't trust 'em with a penny.
Just found out the shadiness of the devs but already bought the game but I can confirm it is not worth the money especially if their track record of abandoning games is true and proceeds them it is not worth the money for the current state of the game

Build the barn. It holds more than 3x stockpiles. Build the food cellar, it keeps food longer, holds more, and gets the food out of your stockpiles
Quit skipping the quest dialog. You may not care, but some of us would like to know what they are frickin saying.
you need a apprentice innkeeper for the cellar, which involves liberating Farnworth or Crasmere.

@@user-PixelCat more irritated lol if you make videos for other people to see, then didn't skip things cause you are in a hurry. If you are doing it on your own, no recording, skip away. My PC can't play this so I watch these to see if, not skip 😝
@@scottmooredrakoedragon9891I think (not 100% sure) the reason why he cut’s through them is because if he goes over a certain amount of recording time, it can demonetizes his videos, which means he won’t be able to make an income from his videos if he goes over I think 30+ minutes . He cuts out a lot already and the dialogue is a lil long. If you slow down ur video when he does the dialogues, you’ll get a pretty good idea of what is said, as well as u r able to pause in time to read. A little time consuming for you, but a lot of gamers depend on monetizing their content , especially if they are promoting a game for free, and don’t get a lot of income from playing a game that is again for free. He’s spending a lot of his time and money for content for us by purchasing this game and recording it,as well as putting the time to edit them, so it’s pretty understandable why he’s choosing to give us enough content out of 1 episode, while also meeting the time requirement for monetizing his content.

I have seen you get upset with the bandaging of you follows instead of the interaction button. Instead of throwing the bandages to the ground you can mouse wheel and select what you want to do. I watched all your videos b4 saying this and wasn't sure if you learned that yet.
