My 2004 KTM came with a street legal title, I thought they all did, I just need to add brake switches and blinkers, I did not bother with a keyed ignition, if a bad guy wants the bike they will just pick it up and take it, that happened to my XR650L, go figure. Nice job, thanks for sharing.
had anyone seen if this can be done in nevada ....i thought i read that you couldnt convert a dirt bike to street here ....and info would be great im trying to look up now
I need your help! I just bout a 05 450exc racing edition so I don't think it has any wiring. I really need a brake light and headlight is there any way you could help me out?
Hi guys, I sold the bike a few months ago. As far as adjusting valves there are some good videos on UA-cam, search valve adjustment KTM RFS. As far as strengthening the bike for road use add an o-ring chain and rubber isolated rear wheel hub along with an oil cooler that adds cooling and increases capacity, please see the links below. advrider.com/index.php?threads/cush-hub-for-ktm-450-exc.229627/ blaisracingservices.com/ktm-rfs-oil-cooler-kit-ktm-400-450-520-525.html
+Anthony Borquez Im thinking about buying a 2005 KTM 450 EXC to be a daily-ish (weather and work permitting) commuting bike and probably switch to supermoto rims after I get more money lol. I don't know if I want to get it since I need to make it street legal. Did you just go through a normal inspection and registration or did you get an enhanced inspection?
bradley nelson it's not possible in Oregon, California, or Washington anymore. The OHV nazi's have taken over I'm sorry to say. They'll deny your plate based on your VIN .

My advice, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN !!! Vote the snow flakes out ! Seriously, why do we just sit on our thumbs and take it ?
@@Fix-it-tony Still completely impossible for a 2003 in California? :/
Jetting please??
Depends on your altitude, where are you riding?
It's a pain, easier in rural community DMV's.
