REQUESTS 1) How would you implement a smaller player that could jump out of the car and collect other power ups. 2) then have that player select an item(from inventory) that they have picked up as a "ready item" 3) get back into car or walk around screen 4) then throw it via taping the screen at the object you want to hit. Note: The item would arc through the air and hit the target object- kind of like a "angry bird" arc.

Even noticed in the comments that someone else had a similar issue. There was great step Zack did that was just a bit fast - but he did say it. When adding the reset button you need to do that in the Game Over page. Going back and forth it can be missed and it looks the same - but it should not be placed in the 3D World UI, instead put it in the GameOver UI. Not everything is apparent when blueprinting, but this makes sense when you slow down to think. All is good now and if you missed it too, hope that helps. DJ xSUBn ({-_- })

Not sure what happened but having posted that 'Restart' was not working, now it is. Still interested to learn how to create custom functions. I want to create an instructions screen, before the game start, and a navigation button to start the game.
@@yusha1723 For me I clicked on MAIN VEHICLE, then over on right hand side of screen scroll dow to TOUCH ROTATE and tick the Invert x box. That then worked and move the car as it should :D

When you added the cylinder for the car collision shape It still bounced and turned it didn't go smooth or stay in a striate line. In part 1 And when I added the move thing it bounced up and down like a jumping bean
i feel like you leave some things out and if youre not paying attention or dont have any deductive reasoning skills then you will quite possibly be stuck in a spot where you cant undo to get back on track this happened to me twice sadly still learned a lot probably doesnt help that im home with 5 kids who are constantly in need of something lol
Your videos are exceptionally great , but when i am building this in my laptop ,in the preview, the camera is not following the car and the car just takes off and falls though i can control it plz make a video on it
My camera follows the game path instead of the character, even though my car is a character, I selected character in the position follow, and my car's collision group is character. I only see the camera moving fast and showing the road

In Touch Rotate nod; use negative value in sensitivity X Value for friendly use.
my play button works opposite when its suppose to show up it dissapears and when it isnt supposed to be there it is there someone help me.

This happened to me too and what I did is remove the 3D world UI and the Game Over UI and add it again then it worked like in the video.

Keep searching. Sometimes images on google aren't transparent when you download them so you'll have to keep searching till you find the right one.

Okay, I found a way: Move the main vehicle from objects (in the assets tree) to Characters does the trick
