I have some terrible flashbacks here. Actually, when I had this operation, nobody even asked me if I wanted to be asleep. And when I went out bleeding asf a child started to cry looking at me
i have serverer astma so i breath thru my mouth since i was a baby, so almost half of my teeth were crooked and prohibbet me from biting correctly, so from the age of 9 to 12 i had 13 teeth getting pulled out, bc. i was so little and i had astma i didnt get the gas just the cream and 3 shots from the syringe, FOR EACH TOOTH, 1 of the teeth's in the back roke som of my jaw off, so now i have it in a plastic bag with the other 13 teeth, when i was 15 two guys i knew samshed my teth down on a waterfounten (kinda like af curb stomper) and i broke 2 front teeth in half. all my freind just joke about it and tell me i have a week mouth. but every time somone brings it up i just dont know what to say and i get chills, now i just joke about it with them and act like nohing. Edit: oops i didnt mean for this to look like a trauma dump, i just ment like you weren't alone with flashbacks and bad Esperances with teeth

Elite explaining it all is really cool tbh. and here is a story of me. i got the same thing at 14 while also having to get my lower jaw moved forward by breaking the bone and putting metal plates of a certain material so it don't rust and cause an infection. i got 2 surgeries at the same time. i did not feel good for the next 2 weeks, if you can avoid having to move your lower jaw with surgery, please do it, you do not wanna eat with a syringe for a week, then the next week eating but not chewing anything, next week being able to chew a bit then normal again, just avoid that it's better for you. quick edit : i should also mention i live in France so being put to sleep was free which i understand isn't the case in other countries so i guess i was lucky but it's still not fun since the recovery actually becomes the worst part now since you don't go through the surgery.

In March, I had my left wisdom teeth removed while taking nitrous oxide, and it still hurt, even with the needles, then, a week later, I took my right side out, and one of them was ingrown so much, the pain to take it out was nothing like I experienced. And I was 12, and still 12 now. P.S, when I went to my dentist in Mississauga 2 years ago, he wanted to remove them that day, and my parents said no.
