It can be a dessert, but it's more of a side dish. It isn't really that sweet. I hope you enjoy it no matter when you serve it!

I made these today, minus the marshmallows (not a fan) I put chopped walnuts on top, OMG they were fabulous! They almost didn't make it to my friend's house. Third thing I have made in my ninja foodi, I couldn't have done it without you Louise! Thanks so much.

@@TheSaltedPepper I have to tell you, my 6 year old grandson (who is in a different state) when I mentioned to him that I watch you to learn how to cook in my Ninja Foodi, replied that he watches you too...he loves to cook and watch cooking shows. A chef in the making. Also, one of my dogs is a little Yorkie, when I watch you sometimes after I go to bed, he gets up on the end of the bed and watches intently..so funny. The whole family loves you!

I love this idea. I wonder if you could just make regular potatoes bacon wrapped with a cheese on top? I will give this a try. I said that cause my husband does not like sweet potatoes. Go figure but I love sweet. This year it's just me and him so I will do the sweet, but seriously thinking about doing the regular for a side dish. Thank you for all your recipes. You are the best. I bet Yukon Gold potatoes would do well wrapped in bacon. I would probably change the glaze though and make it more like a loaded bacon wrapped potato. It sounds delicious, I might have to give that a try myself!

I'm not even a huge fan of sweet potatoes, but I was blown away by how good these are!
When you cook sweet potatoes/yams or other potatoes in the Instant Pot should you poke holes in potatoes first??
You do not have to with sweet potatoes.
I’m going to make this today. Do you think if I omitted the bacon it would still be ok? Or is bacon a must with this glaze? I guess if I didn’t have bacon there would be no place to hold the glaze haha! I guess I answered my own question . 🤣Looks sooooo good!
You don't have to use bacon, but it does really make the dish.
