Reminds me of Path of Titans and The Isle. I'm glad people are making their own survival roleplay games in different eras.
This game is kinda trash. They barely update it, there’s only like two active servers at a time, and the attacks and sound effects are goofy asf
The developers suck as well.
@@Griffo4agreed, do not recomend. Graphics are also waaay sh!trier than how it looks for this guy. Animations are crap, and gameplay is wonky and janky IMO.
Edit:the isle has been waaay better IMO, I’ve never played path of titans although I own it.
It’s nice that is their own game but definitely not the best…especially the combat which is a huge part of the game

This game would be incredible if it had AI animals roaming around instead of relying solely on real people

@@option_al4731 I think they meant in addition to the players. I tried playing another game like this, though with dinosaurs (a F2P game, not the Isle etc.) and it was so hard to play solo as a newbie specifically because there were no NPC prey dinosaurs. All the other players already were grouped up into packs/herds, so it was impossible to hunt anything. In the end I switched between playing as a herbivore or as a stealth scavenger tiny carnivore.
Pretty sure irl Giraffes can outrun a lion. Saw a documentary on a lion pride and the females were hunting down a giraffe. But since the lead lioness during the hunt missed her pounced, the giraffe ran away while the lions were so shocked. xD

Giraffes cannot outrun lions. Giraffes can run 38mph at max. Lions can run 50-55mph, lions are known to give up on big prey like juvenile elephants and hippos & giraffes because the risk injury and they don’t like wasting energy. Those lions stopped chasing cuz they didn’t want to get hurt and wast energy!!!

This video really made me realize that some giraffes spawn in and see leopards chase a hyena. Its a cold world

I normally see a full server megamix pack/herd in 1 location and maybe 1 or 2 players roaming alone.
The game is fun but needs a system against megamix groups

If they fix the movement system and greatly decrease turn radius (idk why in gods name the animals have the turning radius of a fucking airplane) I'd be more inclined to try it out. It looks fun

My brain was on a horror kick when this popped up in recommended. A very nice video, just disappointed myself when I realized it just meant an older giraffe, not some lovecraftian giraffe monster. Lol

Man those Steam reviews are savage. But seems like they need to really work on this game a lot more.
Would be awesome if the game was grounded by more immersive interactions, for example it should’ve been harder for that Lion to pin you down and kill your while being surrounded by a herd of giraffes. There should be risks attached to attacking certain animals as in RL. I’m assuming this plays like a typical “chase and spam attack” type of game with laggy un immersive attack animations. Like usual the tech just isn’t there yet for immersive games of this magnitude while also being online. Good start tho

not to nerd out but it irks me how short they made the newborn giraffe. babies need to be tall enough to drink milk from their mother as soon as theyre born, and the newborn here is like, half of the height of the legs of an adult??? make it make sense

Is it good now? I bought it the day of release and played for about 30 ish hours but couldn’t stand the horrible fighting mechanics, it basically boiled down to run cricles around your opponent and hope you get the most bites in, Ive been waiting forever for it to get reworked lol
I would say fighting is the same for most animals but gator has a grab, its ALOT less laggy

It’s decent now tbh, I also played two years ago and instantly uninstalled because it was so Laggy. It’s honestly pretty good now Granted there is only one active server on the game

If u play more you could try croc it’s op my main I grab people and once I get them it’s death they cannot escape or kill my croc ppl get so mad lol
What croc build do you use?
@@RyanxWest mainly damage like 200 ish attack and the rest in amour some points in stamina can help but I wouldn’t put more then 10 in stam if your just ambush hunting in the water
