Yes. I agree. That’s why I’m so glad I did it. It comes in handy so much. Especially for my 6 yr old son. Lol. Or when I’m loading the truck and drop something!
Dude, great job! I’m wanting to install the same running board lights but with the turn signals too. Then I discovered I’m only 50 miles from you! That’s different.
Good job, I’ve been following your UA-cam channel since you bought your Ram truck. To be honest I’d have to have those running board lights installed lol. Looking forward to your next mod.
When the running boards are folded up, do they cover up the lights? If I was to use the amber running lights and the blinker side of the lights, can they be seen?
Thank you! To answer your question, I don't have the Amp running boards, mine are factory Ram running boards and they don't come with lighting from the factory.
Hi man. Appreciate the video. I need your help. Having a problem with the limit switch. The adjustable arm won't stay at the angle needed to work. Don't know what to. What can I do to get that angle locked so I can finish the installation. Also how are running the wires to the back of your truck. Installing on 2021 ram limited. Thanks
Thank you for the video post. I actually and working to install my running board lights now. I ran into a problem I was hoping you could shed some light on. I found the right color wires off the harness, but the tail lights and break lights run through the same wire. When I press on the brake the sequential lights flash yellow. Did I miss something in the pre setup? Also I'll be pulling the courtesy light from the bed dome lights and won't really need to mess with limit switches. The wire is pretty easy to get to one of those bed lights.
Love this. Did you purchase conduit tubing for your harness? How did you secure your wiring from the running board lights? just the 3M adhesive? Looks good! Anything you'd change with the install?
Great questions! No I did not use any rubbing for the wiring harness I wish I would have! But I was to impatient to wait for it to come in the mail. Lol. Also the 3M Adhesive is holding up real well. I always check on it from time to time. And I think the only thing I would do different is instal the conduit tubing for the wire harness.
Thank you for making this video. I copied what you did and my 2024 Ram 1500 Laramie looks really good with the new running board lights.
This is a very smart idea! The exterior lighting on the truck is pretty good but this is next level.

@@snowram22 I am finding it hard to find which white wire is constant power
Heat shrink is never overkill
Thanks for an amazing video. I've been looking for the best way to do this. Your way was on point. I just added the turn signal with mine.
Great work...! I appreciate the attention to detail..and installation...
The white truck with night package looks great! I got the black with night edition. Beautiful trucks.
Heck yeah brotha. I agree. Would love to see your truck!

Super easy to instal. I promise. Just takes a couple hours lol. But I’m sure you can have it done as well!
Heck yah brother!!👊

I want that type of running boards
I like this
Where can I go to get this done? Are you willing to install this for me?

Great idea...but why didn't you connect to the amp running board light wires?mine came with lights but are not bright....this would be a great upgrade

I am sorry for the late response, were you able to get it all figured out?
Nevermind. I figured it out. Thanks
Dope asf bro !
Thank you bro! I appreciate the love!
Great job . Love it. Could you please share the links so I can order it cheers

Is there a way to wire it to use the turn signals for the running board lights?
Yes it is, I don't remember which wire it is exactly but it will say in the instructions!
Good job ❤
What would this cost to get installed if didn't want to do it yourself
What size did you get for the LED strip
How did you mount the switch to the running board mount? Double sided tape?
Automotive double sided tape haha. The only way man! 3M lol
@SnowRam22 great video! Great ideas and I like your approach. Has the 3m tape held up on the limit switches?
Awesome work! Did you use one limit switch per side to make them independent or only one for both sides?
Thank you bro I appreciate it. And yes I did use one limit switch per side to make them independent.
Nice video…What length of lights did you use 48 or 60 in ?
I think it was 60. I think
A lot of mechanics don't like those wire taps
Which wire did you tap into for the power wire in the harness?
NM, I'm an idiot. I assume you just tapped the constant +. THANKS! lol
Haha. No problem bro! Lol. Great catch!
@@snowram22 which one and constant with ? key on or ff
Do you need to use a fuse?
I don’t think I did. But I might have. You for sure can. Won’t hurt to do so!
Sweet bro awesome video
Thanks 👍
