Jim has such an amazing level of sophistication and kindness. He is really a role model for people in my opinion. I truly love him and his show and acting :)
Role model? This fool was lead theoretical physicist which means he was making over 200k a year. What an admirable guy leaching money from people when he could afford to buy the whole building
avery lo Yeah whenever te camera lingered on the interviewer's face, you could almost see cartoon hearts floating around. Very funny. As far as his accent goes, as a North Easterner, he always sounds like he has a southern accent, or a Texas Drawl, but since his speech pattern is so precise, in real life and in character, it doesn't make him sound stupid, as (I'm really sorry, but it's true) as a southern accent can sometimes do.
And to think Chuck Lorre et al. gave Johnny Galecki first dibs on 'Sheldon.' Fortunately, Galecki had the presence of mind to insist that he was bettered tailored for 'Leonard' -- and the rest is history.
It's beautiful- one of the small details that makes life achingly beautiful- noticing someone's affection for another in a way that is unexpected, unedited, unpredicted. Just pure unfiltered emotion of being struck by the beauty of another.
i love his expressions on the show, and now i find that in real life, he also has the most adorable smile--like a little kid, almost with those cute cheeks!
*This interview is ripe for fanfiction.* "I turned something on, but I'm not sure it was the Texas accent." Jim croons. The interviewer raises his eyebrows, chuckles. "I think you're getting there."
It makes sense that Bazinga became a phrase because of Jim, his method acting is so thorough as a cynical obsessive that when he showed enthusiasm saying 'bazinga' it gave him a small amount of charisma or the feeling that in that moment at least he was content.
i'm not xD i just find it a lil funny , i mean he suppose to be more serious , he could be a huge fan too... i mean i think i would be like that . excited! LOL
The interviewer seems to be hitting on Parsons. The relentless stare with the ambiguous smile, the shirt buttons open too wide to show some chest. I feel as though I'm intruding on a seduction.
Ditto! The "ball pit" scene is an absolute classic! I often wonder how many takes it took and how long Jim and Johnny rehearsed that entire scene before they both were able to do it without totally losing it and cracking up!
the three things i love about Jim and his hands, his laugh, and his voice. so thank GOD he didn't lose his texas twang completely. One of my favorite things about sheldon is when he gets worked up over something his accent comes out.
Jim: "So I turned something on but I'm not sure it was a Texas accent." *Interviewer smirks and raises eyebrows subtley* This was really awkward to watch, because Jim is really attractive and I think the interviewer was swooning a little too much xD
Yes, and it is obviously coming form the host. Jim is very collected, while the host appears to be completely smitten with Jim. It's hard not to be. Jim is very charming and likeable.
Holy hell.... As I'm watching this I'm thinking " this interviewer wants to jump Jim in his "spot" ". It was awkward as hell to watch him flirting and Jim just being normal trying to ignore it. I went to the comments section and low and behold I'm not the only one thinking this guy has pictures of Jim all over his house. Creepy
This was a way awkward interview. Time guy was obviously smitten and Jim was not and had a hard time looking at him. Given that Jim is in a relationship that makes sense. My gosh Time guy, get a grip!
Great interview. Jim seems like such a nice guy. Also, well done on his character as Sheldon, it is just so impressive and believable. Imagine how tedious must have been to remember those lines! Ouch! I was shocked that he's 40, because to my eyes, Jim is early thirties. Love the show, love all of the crew members, great job! Oh and you know what, this show doesn't turn your brain into mush, makes you think every once in a while.
Why did they keep on showing the interviewer? It said "10 Questions for Actor Jim Parsons," not "10 Questions from Interviewer that has a Serious Crush on Jim Parsons."
You are a beautiful man your Artistic tendencies with the way you express yourself your hand and arm movements gracefully help your verbal communication. Wow what an honour to see you interviewed
What's funny is he doesn't realize it... but some of the way he talks is EXACTLY like sheldon. It's the way he phrases things and the words he uses, but that also means he is a lot more intelligent than many people, he had a lot less umm's than most actors!
Just because you can talk without pauses, or um's, does not mean that you are intelligent. At all. I'm finding a hard time understanding how your logic suggests that, when there are numerous examples of intelligent people who have speech impediments and disorders. Stephen Hawking being the best example.
Those were some really great questions to ask. He does a great job as Sheldon. The rest of the characters are rather cliche and I suspect in the future will be forgotten, but he is just so over-the-top that he has become iconic and very popular.
If you look at Jim Parsons here, and then playing Sheldon Cooper, You can't say he's not an amazing actor! To be able to portray someone so... difficult... on screen with millions watching must be so hard! He's turns a difficult person into a lovable character!
Most actors that play villains are like this, too. Poor Jack Gleeson for example is a very friendly guy and played Jeoffrey so good that people started hating him IRL.
Chuck Lorre was brave (experienced also) enough to create Sheldon and Jim was able to bring this character to life. I would like to see him more often. I'm curious how he can handle some action movie (serious or not).
Couldn't think of any actor who would have played Sheldon better. Jim Parsons is the only perfect fit for Sheldon. The way he's still humble amazes me too on top of his impressive acting skill which is too hard. I mean memorizing long complex scientific lines and delivering it in one breath to make people laugh? Jim is so talented!
Without Sheldon there would be no Big Bang Theory love him or hate him. I did find the intervviewer rather creepy and I think he made Jim Parsons uncomfortable by the look on his face.
The interviewer is indeed unproffessional, but the one to blame here is whoever cut the video of the interview; why show the interviewer's face so frequently?
It is incredibly obvious that the interviewer is crushing on Jim, but it's not awkward, it's endearing if anything and i think they'd make a cute couple!!
i'm not a BBT nut it's ok, but i will say off camera jim is a very articulate intelligent man. his theories and ideas about acting and character are well practiced. he got a quick wit and a good answer for almost everything. kudos jim.
Explain it any way you want. Sheldon = AWESOME. Jim Parsons is PERFECT in this role, and I think he is one of the most talented and truly beloved characters in modern Pop-Culture History. :o)
I haven't laughed this hard since the 1st time I saw each episode of Seinfeld. Yes, Jim and thanks for making science funny(thanks to the AWESOME writers)
Am i the only on who thinks Jim Parsons would make an amazing Pee Wee Herman in a pee wee movie or documentary. I mean Imagine him in the pee wee costume! It would be classic.
Mr. Parsons character definitely drives the show, but his insight on how the other characters just shrug and accept his idiosyncrasies is a very good insight into why Sheldon is endearing.
I think it was crazy! Jim Parsons you are a great actor! You play a roll, but you are complietly different ^_^ !!! That was really amazing...! Go on, it was great what you do and play Sheldon while you still can! You did a really well job, I think! ;-)
he sits in his spot!!!!!
dar even 😂😂😂😂😂 sooo true
OMG yes haha
Of coirse he does
How OCD of him
Wouldnt that be awesome 😂
Sheldon coming in saying get out of my seat
Sheldon's doing a good job of acting like Jim Parsons.
:)
Lolol
James Benton Ticer true dat
***** I'll turn back to my two dimensial world. But i'm honored, that somebody likes me, imperial Sheldon cooper, so much, that he fakes me!
I mean, who is this "Jim Parsons"
Jim has such an amazing level of sophistication and kindness. He is really a role model for people in my opinion. I truly love him and his show and acting :)
Role model? This fool was lead theoretical physicist which means he was making over 200k a year. What an admirable guy leaching money from people when he could afford to buy the whole building

@@spidaminida glad to see that it ain't just me that saw that
I think the interviewer has a mayor crush on Jim, and I don't blame I would have the same face...xD.. Jim is beautiful
yesss ahah
+fanforever8 Was just thinking the same. The interviewer is smitten
OMG I'm so glad I wasn't the only one who caught that. I'd be smitten too but I'd try to hide it better than he did. lol.
Yes. The interviewer was an utter turn off when he turned into a woman to flirt. #vomit
IT IS SO EVIDENT OMG! Jim is even avoiding eye contact whenever he can given that he likes men and all!
4:18: "So I turned something on but I'm not sure it was a Texas accent" yeah... you turned the interviewer on :)
4:21 "hehehe I think you're gettin' there!"
Omg !!!! Lolzzzz 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I died .!!! So true.. omg..
I have to admit jim has a cute smile :)
true
Super gay
I love Jim Parsons, he's so well spoken and has such a sweet, calm voice. It's fantastic.
I love how even in interviews, Sheldon still sits in his spot.
You mean Jim? Sheldon is just a character.
I know.. Its Sheldon's spot tho.
More like 10 ways to flirt with Jim Parsons
avery lo like im not trying to stereo type but is it always gay interviewers? lol

avery lo Yeah whenever te camera lingered on the interviewer's face, you could almost see cartoon hearts floating around. Very funny.

+avery lo
Whilst watching the video, I wondered whether anyone had noticed that too
+avery lo Totally!!! lol, thought was the only one noticing that.
I want someone to look at me the way that the interviewer looks at Jim Parsons
Megannn Streck i look a bit like Sheldon :o :D
lol he has such a crush on him
I would definitely look at Jim like that.
i was feeling interviewer have crush on jim, then i read comments, OMG everyone thinking same way :D
same here man
Enkidu Mo Shiri hasn't Jim got a boyfriend
Enkidu Mo Shiri just look at how he stare at Jim ^^
Jim is definitely avoiding eye contact. I know I would.
***** 'Camera shy', I died laughing.
No he doesn't.He's just evading the interviewer
The interviewer is checking sheldon out ..lol..
I thought the interviewer was gonna crack his face from smiling so much. How much "fanboy" can you get?
They couldn't have found anyone better to play Sheldon.
Jim Parsons was made for that role.
And to think Chuck Lorre et al. gave Johnny Galecki first dibs on 'Sheldon.' Fortunately, Galecki had the presence of mind to insist that he was bettered tailored for 'Leonard' -- and the rest is history.
Yea. I heard about that.
I don't think I could even imagine Johnny Galecki as Sheldon.
I love how Jim avoids eye contact because he noticed how gay the interviewer is for him.
Question: Why did they even show him for such a long time when Jim was talking? It's so awkward to watch
Could that interviewer be crushing on Jim any harder? Lol
It's beautiful- one of the small details that makes life achingly beautiful- noticing someone's affection for another in a way that is unexpected, unedited, unpredicted. Just pure unfiltered emotion of being struck by the beauty of another.

It's so weird to see Jim's real personality. He plays his part in the show so well, it's hard to imagine him as anyone else.
*This interview is ripe for fanfiction.*
"I turned something on, but I'm not sure it was the Texas accent." Jim croons.
The interviewer raises his eyebrows, chuckles. "I think you're getting there."
Jim Parsons is just so awesome!! He is the reason i watch the show! Pls dont ever end this show!
Jim is such a beautiful human being. ♥️
It makes sense that Bazinga became a phrase because of Jim, his method acting is so thorough as a cynical obsessive that when he showed enthusiasm saying 'bazinga' it gave him a small amount of charisma or the feeling that in that moment at least he was content.
is it me or is the host flirting with him ?
It is just you.
definitely crushing on him, but can you blame him?
i'm not xD i just find it a lil funny , i mean he suppose to be more serious , he could be a huge fan too... i mean i think i would be like that . excited! LOL
yeah :)
Gilbert Rosario i can imagine myself blushing and totally losing it, knowing even though he is not interested in woman.
The interviewer is unprofessional. He's making Jim feel uncomfortable hence his lack of eye contact. You can see his discomfort.
The interviewer seems to be hitting on Parsons. The relentless stare with the ambiguous smile, the shirt buttons open too wide to show some chest. I feel as though I'm intruding on a seduction.
He even had a discomfort smile to Jim that's unrespectful
That was some el horrible flirting going on there. What a long 6 minutes of awkwardness. Haha. Love Jim, poor guy. Lol!!
nothing awkward. Jim is gay, and looked to like it.
The interviewer seems in heaven, he killed me! LOL

This was really awkward to watch, because Jim is really attractive and I think the interviewer was swooning a little too much xD
Oh god. For anyone who doesn't see the weird sexual tension here,. Just go to 2:00 in.. Wow that eyeraise

Amy would be so mad.
I love how Jim is so normal and relaxed. He knows he is famous but does not indulge in the glory of it. He just loves what he does. :)
I can barely watch this, it's so uncomfortable cause the interviewer was kind scaring me (and probably jim, but he seems oblivious)

This interview is so calm..... I like it.
I love how any any interview, special message, or random footage on set, Jim never sits anywhere other than Sheldon's spot.
6:06 Sheldon hates interviewer lol you can see a little sass there making it look like Good grief it's over. 😂
He is just so freaking adorable!
I love the "Big Bang Theroy" especially Jim Parsons gotta love him !!!
The interviewer is totally into him. But Jim seems oblivious to it... O.o
He has a great personality!!
