This guy is the best interviewer I have seen. How come I have never heard of him before? His questions are spot on, he lets the guest have his time answering each question. No side-games or a band or whatever to fill in time. Genuine conversation, genuine questions. Respect
George has always been fantastic at interviews. He used to interview some pretty hardcore metal and alternative bands back in the days of MuchMusic on TV and he managed to appeal to everyone, not just diehard fans. He's down to earth, does his homework, and is one of those people who can just naturally connect with a wide variety of people.
What a lovely guy! He comes across as very sincere, very humble, and just a kind-hearted individual. It makes me even happier for his fame and success. :)
I love the way Jim looks down while speaking and then looking up slowly with brightness and sincerety. A child or man every family wants to have in life.
wtf, this is the first time i've watched this interview and feel every second of it. i mean, the interviewer is very exceptional. his posture, his voice and the way he talks to his guest is just brilliant. it's just like he is naturally born to interview people.
Julius Thomasson I just happened upon this interview, never having heard of George Stroumboulopoulos. I was struck by the intelligence of his questions. He leaves most of the American interviewers in the dust.
George Stroumboulopoulos is a very good interviewer - great questions, lets Jim answer and Jim Parsons is a very eloquent and interesting interviewee :-)
He is a kick ass interviewer and that was a top of the notch interview. It is a total pleasure to see an interviewer so respectful towards whom he's talking to. Delight.
George Strouboulopoulos is a very professional interwiewer, his questions are smart and he lets time to answer each question, and Jim Parsons is so smart, so interresting, likeable, when he told his childhood memory he is so adorable, Chuck Lorre had make such a good choice, Jim Parsons is the only actor in the world who could paly an insensitive, self-centered, jerk character like Sheldon and making him so touching!
Currently, my favorite actor....I love that they are celebrating smart people in this show as well...I worked 15+ years in academia, so these characters are so real to me. :-)
I love how he compliments George on the shows researcher at 3:00. A lot of interviewers ask 'standard questions' but its sooo refreshing to hear new, original content from interviewers Doesn't hurt that he's Canadian, like this SK farm kid
k, so this is a way to interview someone as well, I see. Didn't know it was possible, felt so good to experience this! I've seen a lot - and I mean a lot - of interviews with Jim, never seen him this inspired. Finally a conversation that doesn't start with "do you have fun on the tbbt set" or "what's your favorite episode".... :)
Love the interviews that I've seen with the entire cast of this show. All seem genuine, and truly grateful, for their good fortune. Very much like Aaron Rodgers.I hope this is a trend!
In this interview, you can see how Mr. Parsons brought his little mannerisms to his character Sheldon. A head turn, a look, how he phrases things. It's cool.
George has such an incredible intuition for interview. Every guest he had on provided so much more depth and interest in their answers compared to their American counterparts. I miss his show and I miss turning on CBC to catch it every week.
BTW, this is the second video clip I've seen of this show where the guest said he didn't know how George S found out a particular piece of information about them. That's awesome research.
J.Parsons - an AWESOME, STUNNING ACTOR - one of the MOST TALENTED ACTORS I'VE EVER SEEN. I TRULY HOPE he will not "finish" with the "BBT" series and - HONESTLY! - if HOLLYWOOD WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE HIS POTENTAL AFTER HE FINISHES "BBT", THEN I'LL STOP WATCHING MOVIES. What's most STUNNING is that he is FOURTY, and he looks almost like a teenager! :D
First time I've ever seen this interviewer (I'm not American and don't live there so I only occasionally watch US talk shows) and he is unquestionably better than Letterman, Conan O'Brien, Craig Ferguson or even Ellen (and I like Ellen a lot). He should be as famous as they are.
strombo (briefly) had a show on CNN (in the states), but it didn't last long..his CBC (canadian) talk show ran its' course too, now he just occasionally uploads musician interviews/concerts @ his home on his youtube channel
its fun and surprising to see how much jim parsons is of sheldon cooper. coming to really enjoy a character turns out that character really is of that character. im stoned
+Bob James I don't perceive Sheldon as an evil character. In fact he is a very nice person. It is simply alienating to function on such a higher level than those around you yet be devoid of the social skills necessary to relate to your peers. Advanced placement courses are notorious for producing those results. People constantly perceive you as speaking down to them or believing yourself to be so much better than they are when the thought has never even crossed your mind. It can be infuriating because nothing you say nor any modification you may make to your personality ever seems to make it up to them. First impressions truly are very important as people rarely allow you a true second chance. :/
...DAMN! - He's RIGHT! :D I don't think there is ANYONE IN THE WORLD, that "LIKES SHELDON "Shelly" COOPER, but EVERYDODY LIKES JIM PARSONS!! :D How the HELL is that? :)
Point :Before girls very much loved jim parsons But when he say im gay🤔 Girls going very sad 😂😂 And confused But i know that in first time when see him

He's Canadian, eh ?!? Probably doesn't have anything on American TV . . .
Wanda Mundy And why the fuck would he want too ?
Blue Sky HD Canadian Television.
Blue Sky HD It's because he's Canadian, and Canadians are generally very personable, and genuine.
He was so genuine and likeable. So likeable. Makes you want to see him do well.
What a lovely guy! He comes across as very sincere, very humble, and just a kind-hearted individual. It makes me even happier for his fame and success. :)
His eyes are so beautiful.
I love the way Jim looks down while speaking and then looking up slowly with brightness and sincerety. A child or man every family wants to have in life.
Yes. I thought he would have had better eye contact.
Oh Jim, you're just the cutest, sweetest person:)
nhpm900 Yes, he is. He's just precious.
I couldn't stop watching him. Something about the air around him was nice. Especially when he told the childhood memory story.
wtf, this is the first time i've watched this interview and feel every second of it. i mean, the interviewer is very exceptional. his posture, his voice and the way he talks to his guest is just brilliant. it's just like he is naturally born to interview people.
Every interview I've seen, George has a way of directing conversations like no other.
Always said it. George is without a doubt the best interviewer out there.
Julius Thomasson
I just happened upon this interview, never having heard of George Stroumboulopoulos. I was struck by the intelligence of his questions. He leaves most of the American interviewers in the dust.
I love Jim Parsons. His character of Sheldon is fun but Jim is a genuine sweetie pie. Love him. His mom has a lovely son.
He seems so gentle.
Such an awesome person. I'm happy for all his success. And....his 'Sheldon' character is immensely entertaining.
The perfect combination of host and guest. Love them both so much.
Jim is just adorable......a total doll. I could just squeeze him!!!
George Stroumboulopoulos is a very good interviewer - great questions, lets Jim answer and Jim Parsons is a very eloquent and interesting interviewee :-)
You deserve a nobel for being able to write his name correctly.
Marco Zaupa It's on the title of the video.......
+Rival Tarsier I think somebody has a superiority complex...
Good interview like two friends who’ve know each other for years
He is a kick ass interviewer and that was a top of the notch interview. It is a total pleasure to see an interviewer so respectful towards whom he's talking to. Delight.
Jim is such a joy to listen too.
Jim Parsons is very humble, holy crap o_o
I was just looking at his eyes my God beautiful
George Strouboulopoulos is a very professional interwiewer, his questions are smart and he lets time to answer each question, and Jim Parsons is so smart, so interresting, likeable, when he told his childhood memory he is so adorable, Chuck Lorre had make such a good choice, Jim Parsons is the only actor in the world who could paly an insensitive, self-centered, jerk character like Sheldon and making him so touching!
Best interview I've seen in a while..... he knows what he's doing lol also Jim is adorable....
Currently, my favorite actor....I love that they are celebrating smart people in this show as well...I worked 15+ years in academia, so these characters are so real to me. :-)

Very original, unique questions and answers given as well...prolific interview! 👏👏👏
Great interview, thank you. It's good to see the person behind the character.
George never seems to do a bad interview. Jim Parsons came across well in this interview.
His smile is so pretty...💗💗
I made myself laugh so hard saying the hosts name as fast as I could, haha I'm crying
Can't believe Jim is 40 here!! He looks like late 20's early 30's lol
I look older than him and I'm a decade younger.
ikr? Luckily, like Jim, I look a decade younger. It feels good to get carded once in a while.
Kid Grit he's 43
This was 2010 he was 37 where do you get 40 from
He's wearing a wig.
he's such a great person!
My god. He is adorable
I love Jim and I love this interview! 💕
Jim Parsons. He is so smart! and thats why I like him.
i like the interviewer.
He lets guests talk.
Love the interviews that I've seen with the entire cast of this show. All seem genuine, and truly grateful, for their good fortune. Very much like Aaron Rodgers.I hope this is a trend!
ONE OF THE GREATEST SHOWS EVER
such a lovely interview! :)
seems like such a cool, humble guy.
In this interview, you can see how Mr. Parsons brought his little mannerisms to his character Sheldon. A head turn, a look, how he phrases things. It's cool.
I love to hear famous people say their mother was right.
Ohhhhh Jim is such a sweetie pie! 💚💚 love him!!
What a great actor.
Third interview I've watched of Strombo, great interviewer, wow!
brilliant character and totally suited to him. he's brought me more laughter than any.. and i mean .. any,, of my relationships.
Anyone here in 2020 with Yong Sheldon now a hit?
Wow, such a great interviewer, I will be subbing to watch more.
I just heard about "Strombo" today and from what ive seen of his show on UA-cam, i wish they showed his program here in the States!
Just amazing wow, collage teachers are going to show all these interviews on how to gain the trust of the guest, just amazing.
STROMBO FOR MAYOR!!!
Great interview! I love the response of celebrating the geniuses rather than poking fun. I totally love that about this show!
George has such an incredible intuition for interview. Every guest he had on provided so much more depth and interest in their answers compared to their American counterparts. I miss his show and I miss turning on CBC to catch it every week.
Loving this interview💡🔸✨ ♥
BTW, this is the second video clip I've seen of this show where the guest said he didn't know how George S found out a particular piece of information about them. That's awesome research.
Bry good interview from a humble talented actor !
J.Parsons - an AWESOME, STUNNING ACTOR - one of the MOST TALENTED ACTORS I'VE EVER SEEN.

Great interviewer
He’s so handsome and so genuine I’m sure made his momma proud.
I'm not sure if he has the most satisfying laugh or it's just cause Sheldon has problems laughing, anyways I love you Jim..
"It was a warm summer night in ancient Greece."
One of my favorite episodes.
what great skin he has!
+gtrdoc911 Cum!

he's canadian lol
Ah, that explains it. :)
strombo (briefly) had a show on CNN (in the states), but it didn't last long..his CBC (canadian) talk show ran its' course too, now he just occasionally uploads musician interviews/concerts @ his home on his youtube channel
He's adorable :)
He is so cute and innocent and such a gentelman..
Thats my ooinion
That's my onion too
Ha ha very funny.. was ment to write my opinion
Amy Jordan I love onions
zlopy shut up
I like more Jim Parsons than Sheldon Cooper
Oh geez, that voice IS real.
its fun and surprising to see how much jim parsons is of sheldon cooper. coming to really enjoy a character turns out that character really is of that character. im stoned
I've noticed that too. It's like he's all the Sheldon minus the high intelligence. He's not stupid but he's certainly a genius level scientist
a lot of pretentious tv snobs liked to crap on the big bang theory, but i always thought it was a terrific show (and i didnt/dont care who knows it)
This is pretty inspirational...
I never realized how nice looking Jim Parsons was before. And, of course, Strombo is "my boyfriend!"
If ever they make a movie about David Byrne and the early days of the Talking Heads, they should hire this guy.
Excellent interviewer, very very nice
My favorite sitcoms are Fawlty towers, big bang, golden girls and Frasier.
Great picks.
He is actually a very nice guy.
It's like finding out the guy who plays King Joffrey in Game of Thrones is actually a really nice person.
Bob James Most actors that play evil characters are.
I'm sure they are. It's just hard to visualize until you see it.
+Bob James

And yes this interviewer is good and yes Jim Parsons is Sheldon
the advert is killing me!!!!GRRGGGRTG
He actually talks like Sheldon in real life. He was definitely not acting in The Big Bang Theory.
I don't think jim realises that the directors based sheldon on his actual life haha!
...DAMN! - He's RIGHT! :D I don't think there is ANYONE IN THE WORLD, that "LIKES SHELDON "Shelly" COOPER, but EVERYDODY LIKES JIM PARSONS!! :D
How the HELL is that? :)
43 years now... lol
george seems to be a really intelligent and caring person. it doesn`t seem like he just looks for laughs or applaude.
i'm so like him it scares me a bit. totally connect with his thoughts
ha! gayyyyy
Im so glad hes not weird, I was afraid he was like his character in person.
Attack Counter Why were you soo afraid of that??
He's pretty weird.
Good interviewer; so many just ask asinine questions
he's sheldon no matter what
I love Jim and I think there is quite a lot of Sheldon in him too
Apparently a distinctly likeable man ... Jim Parsons, I mean!
This is about Jim’s life.
I am a lover and a fighter.
Jim is the best actor in the big theory and that my opinion don't judge me I'm a 11 year using his sister sister phone and u can't spell that o word
He was on the 'Who do you think you are' USA show and all he said was 'Wow' to everything...Was that an act too?
💜💜💜💜
Cuteness is radiating through his face
If you really looked at his body of work...then you see how Sheldon is part of him and his other roles are not. Which to me is a good thing.
I didn't picture Sheldon being gay before I saw this
👏
He is so cute
That interview went fast.
Point :Before girls very much loved jim parsons
But when he say im gay🤔
Girls going very sad 😂😂
And confused
But i know that in first time when see him
🥰❤️
