I'm currently 13 years old and I understand. I was forced to grow up quickly, adults often telling me I'm surprisingly mature. Memories like those feel distant yet so close to your heart, ones of being little and carefree. It's hard to reminisce and realize all you've had was gone, especially at my young age. But sometimes it's just nice to remember that you were happy.
Academics mattering now, and knowing you can't go back and probably making key choices for the major they want to go into aka life career decisions about now
