@berner The movie is called Blood Beach from 1980. One of the taglines for the movie was "Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water....you can't get to it!" and "The five people believed to have drowned here never even made it past the sand!" There was some kind of creature under the sand.
Thanks for the information. It is so nice to talk to people on youtube and actually learn something from them. I have met so many cool people on this site and you are one of them.
Bad Ronald 1974
Crawlspace 1974
Strange and deadly occurrence 1977
Norlis Tapes 1972
Night stalker 1972
Trilogy of terror 1974
Taste of Fear 1970

Great scary TV movies of the 70's
2021 and still the video that got me hooked onto your channel. Next day $0 bank account $1,000 worth movies bought lol :)
I think your really cool and keep these movie blogs going. I'm a big fan of the 70s and 80s horror. I'm a 26 year old female and I grew up on them xx
awesome collection, me and u have similiar taste in 70 and 80s movies, i have alot of them , i just think they came out with the best movies in those decades, i wish i could go back in time and be in the 80s at my age and see a bunch of them that came out in theatres! they also had the best coverboxes back them too !
nice collection there. some films I haven't picked up on before, particularly the tv movies. 'bad ronald' looks very interesting.
ps your so right " Never use tv actors from such teen tv shows as one tree hill and the oc" xx
I have been looking for one movie that I saw in the '70's and I couldn't remember the name-I watched your video and saw it!! Thank you for posting!! It was The Crawlspace! Thank you!!
All are very good reviews man !!!
Great selection. Some other fun 70s horrors you might like: Alucarda, Asylum, The Witch Who Came From the Sea and Sisters.
listening to this guy talk forever i think would be a personal hell of mine like being forced to go to an icp show and it never ends
You have some great discs there. Nice edition of Suspiria. Two I'd like to add from the 70's, The Legend of Hell House, 1973. With Roddy McDowall - Very creepy even today. And George C. Scott's The Changeling - One of my all time faves!.
Omg. Bad Ronald!!! I remember seeing that on late night tv in the 80's I forgot about that movie and I never knew the name of it til now. Awesome film.
i finally found bad ronald a few weeks ago! a must see, it was great! thnx for mentioning it Shawn.
Crawlspace was 1972. I'm glad you liked "Let's scare Jessica to Death" and "The Changeling" too! I have changeling on a really really old vhs.
Any time I have a craving for a good movie, I look up you're videos. (: You never steer me wrong! :D Thank you!
At 5:58 you are so right that's how everyone in my school is they're always talking about how awesome remakes are then I ask them "have you ever seen the original" and every time they say NO.
BAD RONALD!!!!!????? Yes!!!! I totally agree and am constantly searching for some sort of official release. It has haunted me since I was a kid - a made-for-tv classic! We need to start a petition or something...
Thank you very much man, u're great. My name is Luke and I'm writing from Rome, I'm watching each movie you've said, you're awesome!
I've just watched Halloween by John Carpenter, tonight I'm watching "The Last House On The Left". Thank u, bye :)
Great collection!
Thanks man. Your videos are really great. Your dvd collection is awesome.
I was ready to mock you, until I saw Bad Ronald. That was a great film. Very nice pick.
You mentioned, "Don't be afraid of the Dark".. Awesome movie!..lt's a must see
Boy you were large back in the Day but you turned it around well done dude ⭐👍
oh thats ok lol still great collection and love your videos and i also just saw u in grave encounters 2, I thought that was a great cameo
Asylum (1972) is also a good horror film, it's about these mental patients who tell their creepy stories of how they ended up there to a doctor but there's a little more to it than that; that's just a simpler way of saying what it's about. This film really terrified me when I was a kid.
Bad Ronald is good. However, it's not really a horror--it's just depressing,
I seriously love you. I would love to hang out with you and watch movies! You have such a superb selection!
The orginal Halloween and Halloween 2 are awesome. In fact you could run them together and make one long movie. Part 2 begans right where the first one ended. Takes place on the same night.
Nice selection. Will be checking some of these out.
Phantom of The Paradise is underrated. Its like Phantom of the Opera and Rocky Horror crammed into one. Its a hard find. I found it at walmart in 2006 for 5.00. glad to see you review it!
I would include Carrie, Alien, The Exorcist, Jaws, The Omen, Invasion Of The Body Snatchers, Salem's Lot, Black Xmas and The Amityville Horror
Which also has Scott Jacoby aka Bad Ronald. I tracked down a torrent after seeing it. Love both movies.
yeah they showed bad ronald on tbs back in the late eightys man i miss those days of cable channels showing cool movies like that
The movie "Lets scare Jessica to death" is really a great creepy 70's film.
good job mate! i will love you movies, especially when you talk about some of your horror movies! I just hope that you will keep making these kind of movies.... damn in my opinion you should have your own tv show! :-).
Halloween is my favorite film of all time. SO funny that it was the first film introduced in this video.
DUDE LOVE YOUR VIDEOS YOU ROCK!!!
"Dark Night of the Scarecrow" was released in '81. Just watched it though. Decent flick (especially for a made for TV movie). "The Changeling" was a great movie (one of the best ghostly flicks ever), but it was released in '80. I don't know if you're going by release dates or production dates. "The Brood" was released in '79, however, and I recommend it if you like horror movies.
Think you for your blog i was looking for this movie for so long but couldnt get the name.thanks to you i got it, TOURIST TRAP one of my best 70s horror movie. THANKS COOLDUDER!!!!!
It was called, "Chopping Mall" or "Mall Bots" made in the 80s. The head exploding scene is classic.
@Red23791 Yeah that was another great one! :) The part with the wrapped up body parts making their own way accross the basement floor scared me when I saw it and today it creeps me out whenever I think back to it.
Good taste in movies Brother!
Excellent! well done.. not your generic run down of movies we already know. These movies are more underground! That's what I like!
Nice collection, boy!
Greetings from Brazil!
the re-make of last house is better than the original! loved it.
Great vid.
I would throw in "the legacy", "devil dog hound of hell", and "gargoyles".
GREAT VIDEO...There's a lot of stuff there that I've never seen so I have some good ideas on things to watch. I was wondering about Crawlspace. I read about that one in SHOCK CINEMA mag. I may check that one out.
My fav 70's horror is Halloween and The Exorcist of course. Typically.
Bad Ronald is available on DVD from Warner Archive :)
yes. it is the sequel to night of the comet. it takes place in a mall. has a lot of little details like what you said "closed sundays" its called day of the comet but thats 80's it goes for 137 mins in color and if you find it and watch it, watch it with dr pepper. the girl is addicted to dr pepper in the movie. it is out of print and you can't find it on amazon. but i got it in wal mart
I would like to see this bad Ronald. sounds fascinating.🤔
Your awesome, i have been trying to figure out the name of that movie with the kid in the Walls forever.(Bad Ronald) I saw it on tv when i was little and it made a big impression on me. So thank you now i know the name. And your right "Season of the witch" is great Im not forsure why i like that movie but i Do.
phantom of the mall is a great 80's movie. it's plot is very similar to phantom of the opera, but takes place in mall. hard to explain but still really good.
A good 1970's movie that I don't know if you would consider a horror or not is "The Little Girl Who Lives Down The Lane". Jodie Foster plays a girl who nobody knows she lives on her own. Martin Sheen plays a man that doesn't trust her as far as he can throw her and he wants to find out what she is doing. He is a creepy character in the movie too.
This guy is awesome wen it comes to movies especially horror i thought i knew a lot but he takes the cake
Wow, I didn't know that they had made a stage play of the movie. Was it a play or a movie first? The funny thing is that I had always heard about the movie and I had seen bits and pieces of it for years but never sat down and watched the movie all the way through. It was awesome though when I did see it. My new year's resolution for 2009 is to watch as many "CLASSICS" as possible. Black and White up to the present. Taxi Driver, Ben Hur, and the list goes on. LOL
i love the phantom of the paradise
yea phantom of the paradise has always been 1 of my faves...parts of the movie have always looked like an animated movie or like a comic book. the color of it always looked cool to me. the part where the phantom is outside in the rain and he stabs himself that part. i always liked the songs too...great movie..id like to add one. did u ever see vampyres? (1974) another cool movie...
man, i was JUST thinking about ol' joe bob briggs, i loved the check lists he did at the beginning of all the movies he commentated. "we've got 3 severed heads, 2 pairs of naked breasts, 1 pitchfork stab, 1 machete cleave, 12 dangling bodies, and one psycho with a hockey mask" LOL i'm paraphrasing of course.
ur a true legend man really love to see some of them films
WOW GREAT collection. Halloween is one of my scariest. OMG!!!!!!! you forgot about the EXCORCIST very creepy.
This dude is the best, KEEP ROCKING, BRO
and my favorites are Let's Scare Jessica To Death and Last House On The Left, kinda weird you didn't mention the scariest horror filme ever made: The Exorcist, but that's alright, peace out , man
A favorite of mine is " Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things " I think its an Alan Ormsby movie .Its kind of Scooby Dooish ...1970 or 71
Bad Ronald Sounds really interesting, man. I wish I could find that one. Nice videos. Keep it up.
Here's a few more I would add.
The Other &
Dark Secret of Harvest Home.
Both are film adaptations of two great horror novels by Thomas Tryon.
Youve got to get a copy of the possessed which was a made for tv movie with James Farentino. Creepy 70s vibe and filmed in a old high school. One of my absolute favorites.
Mine too
crawlspace is from 72 :) thanks for the reviews!
Chopping Mall is a classic 80's mall film. i'm sure you've seen it, though.
The Exorcist (1973)???
Wow - can`t believe you didn`t mention this one.
hi man. i love your videos and i like the way you present them. i started watching your videos when i was 8 and i just found you again cause i forgot your channel name. i preferably like your horror videos. ill be watching more often from now on! :-)
The Screaming Woman, I've read a story with that name, I think was written by Ray Bradbury, but I had no idea it was a film.
ur holographic Halloween cover his so cool. my dad has the regular cover with Michael Myers head
That was a great one, scared me to death, what about Burnt Offerings and The Screaming Woman..ever heard of that?
Also try "Chopping Mall".. Hilarious
how about Silent Partner 1978. It's a Canadain Flick that stars Elliott Gould as a bank teller who get held up by a Santa Claus(Christpher Plummer) during Christmas, Interesting things start happen as Gould has something else in mind. It also stars Susannah York and a small early appearance from John Candy. A lot of the scenes are from the Toronto Eaton Centre Mall, as that is where the bank is located. This is the big mall here in Toronto, I enjoy the mall scenes here as I konw this mall well.
The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane..with Jodi Foster? Really good movie..and I've heard nothing of Burnt Offerings? Great great movie, if you've never seen it, get it , it's out on dvd...the Trilogy of Terror, yeah..I remember that creepy little doll...yeeek
love your videos! thanks for posting this!
take a look at the movies i have dug up there are good looking over hers a couple more- winter kill(1974),the dark secret of harvest home(1978),gargoyle(1972),the town that dreaded sundown(1976),dont let children play with things(1972),stranger in the house(1978), i recommend all of these it has taken hours to look these up. enjoy.
I agree. Halloween 3 is great.
Loving your videos! I asked you before, but have you seen the Phantom Creeps with Bela Lugosi. It was a serial, that played i believe in the 40's. It is on a Diamond entertainment DVD or something like that, and I've only seen it around Haloween. Anyways, love your shit.
A good horror movie that takes place in a mall is Chopping Mall. Its a 80's horror film.
Woody Allen did a movie that was primarily set in an late 80's/early 90's style mall. Scenes from a Mall (1991)
christ i want to see Bad Ronald!
i only saw the trailer somewere on youtube and looks awesome
i have to agree--those who leave rude comments should be quiet already. no one wants to read your insulting comments. regardless, good videos! you do a good job talking about your movie selections.
nice collection they all rock
in Dark Night Of The Scarecrow, the girl wasn't shot by 2 men, she went into a yard that had lawn ornaments and she was attacked by a dog, and bubba was blamed for it
great choices man, thanks for posting
I just finished watching "Bad Ronald".
wow that was one of your best dvd collections
Great review,if your keen on horror movies with a shopping mall theme, you could try a decent slasher movie from 1983 called The initiation.
Daughters of Darkness is a classic .
your ending cracked me up.
Bookmarking for later viewing. You, sir are an aficionado of horror.
I need to watch these!!! I watched the recent halloween and thought it was good so this one should be better.
Halloween! Amen.
You were talkin about malls, I miss Saturday night Matinee!
Good job, dude. I just discovered your videos and they're very entertaining. I thought *I* was obsessed with my DVD collection, LOL.
I'd add "Black Christmas" to your list.
Oh, but "Last House" really sucks.
Night of the Comet takes partially in a mall for a few scenes. :)
Alien - 1979. That was the scariest movie I've ever seen and the only one that made being scared not fun anymore.
they should have kept the movie as mike myers as a kid. Original Halloween is one of the greatest movies ever made IMO
