I love your horror reviews, I've found so many amazing films from watching your videos! We have pretty much the same taste in horrors, except I adore all of the Saw films, they are my guilty pleasures :D Thanks! x
Thanks for the vid! You seem really nice and I love youre taste! Love that you talk about movies that is hard to find in the stores too! Its that kind of movies im looking for!
MAN! That's so funny, I freakin' love old malls, too. We have one in my town that has several storefronts that just scream 70s and 80s. Nobody ever goes to it, because it closes early and has a lot of offices in it. My fellow horror friend and I always talk about how much we wanna make a zombie movie in it.
I completely agree with you about CGI! I can't stand CGI, and I can't understand why so many recent horror movies use CGI. Even when practical special effects might look like crap it still is more visually appealing than CGI!
Randomly came across this video while searched for good movies for Halloween and I love that you did rare movies. I love watching little known rarer horror movies rather than the big blockbusters that everyone knows.
Good job -- this is EXACTLY the kind of information I was looking for: rare, hard-to-find, more off-the-wall kind of horror. Excellent job! Thank you. I will be subscribing and watching your videos, definitely.
Coolduder, you are possibly the only person in the world who encompasses and lives the idea of what it is to be a cinephile. Your passion is an obsession and is not bound by taste preconceptions, flawed distribution techniques or print limitations. Jean-Luc Godard only watched 2 films a day. Fuck him. Big up yourself and keep being inspired in your life. Sincerely, a big fan.
you met the entire cast of "Return of the Living Dead" ??!! I'm speechless - that's one of my all-time favorite movies, man .... Spider, Trash, Suicide (passed away, sadly), Scuz, Burt, and Ernie!! oh man ... I would have gone apeshit! I can't believe nobody was at the convention - - - ultimate zombie movie!! (my other favorite being Day of the Dead - above even Dawn, believe it or not) ....... anyway - rad video... keep em coming!!
If you like old malls, you'd like the beginning scene in Scanners, where they catch the main character in the food court of a mall in Montreal. I can tell you, it's changed since then, seeing I live here and go there all the time ;)
I can't believe you like Troll 2 so much, the plot makes no sense it's ridiculous! They played it at a movie marathon I went to at like 4 in the morning, and afterwards they rang up one of the actors and interviewed him on speakerphone for the whole crowd it was pretty cool.
I met David Hess a couple weekends ago in Worcester for a convention. He was very friendly and nothing like how he was in LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT. Thumbs up for David Hess's kickass performance.
man i just watched Donnie Darko and the lost boys and Im falling in love with 80's cult movies:) some cool looknig filsms thanks:D and you have some cool merch in the background:D
MOTEL HELL, THANK YOU!!!! Seen it on TV never knew what the name was and people would look at me weird when i would explain it. Thank you, I will be ordering it soon.
Great choices! I love b-movies! Thanks for sharing your ideas and perspectives! You're great, man! Keep posting suggestions! I'll be looking for these films.
don't get me wrong i still love Troll 2 for it's nostalgia value, awesome soundtrack, and 80's camp factor. It is a cool movie to see as a kid. Danny Keep up the god work sir!
Hey man, I've never really been into horror movies but am just starting to watch some. Your videos are really helpful in steering me in the direction of some classics! Thanks!
i would like to thank you for givin me some of your favorite horror movies by giving you some of mine. i have never heard you talk about them but i hope you will in the future. the skeptic, dead end, pontypool, dead set, end of the line, death of a ghost hunter, rec 1, rec2, splinter, the hord, dance of the dead, shuttle, let the right one in, anamorph
really wish you would put in mainstream movies to. I usually like your quick little reviews and are usually spot on with suggestions so some movies i might of skipped you would say are good.
I certainly agree with your disdain for this constant barrage of sequels and remakes that Hollywood keeps churning out. However, I can't really blame them, because, like any other industry, their in it for the profit and, unfortunately, people like to watch this sub-par crap. Also, kudos on your choices of Dawn of the Dead and Return of the Living Dead. Those are two of my favorite films also. I feel the same way about movies set in a mall for some reason. Great videos, man!
yeah they remodeld the mall here where I live in the mid 90's. It used to be brown bricks with lots of biege colour with orange with the classic food court. Then they renovated it to all white. I like the 70's and 80's original mall layout too.
Hey man! I am one of the biggest horror movie fans out there. I have over 700 horror movies on DVD and I think those types of movies are awesome! I've always been a fan of horror movies. Anyway I just want to say keep doing what you're doing, keep up the good work. Not everyone has seen a lot of these wonderful movies like Daughters of Darkness and a lot of the early horror films. Just keep it up buddy, I'm glad to see other people still love the genre as much as I do!
Showtime used to show Body Bags... My parents took me to The Hills Have Eyes at the drive in when I was like 10 weeks old. For some reason I cant recall it :) I really liked Cabin Fever... I almost got sick during the fingering scene and also the shaving scene. Rambo... its amazing what HGH can do to a 60 year old man huh :) nice collection man. where are these conventions you're going to??
Love the vids man I've been keeping up with them for a while and have really enjoyed them. Very informative and I have yet to dislike a DVD that u have suggested so thanks and keep up the good work bud!!!
Good picks i think im gonna get that dawn of the dead special edition you have... Dood! you had me seriously cracking up with that rant about sylvester stallone and rambo! good point!...
You know what's really crazy is after 52 years they're now making a sequel to the B-horror movie "The Killer Shrews," with James Best reprising his role. ~Peace, over and out!~ ~Anton~
day of the dead The film was principally shot in Bulgaria, with limited shooting in Los Angeles, California. Thought you would like to know. and the killer clowns from outerspace i searched forever for that and finally found it i love it!!!!
i love that comment;i dont like remodeling when talking about rebuilding malls.lovee it,your hilarious!i agree, i dont like keeping up with the times and loveee 70s-80s everything.i don't know what it is,but it's just so noustaligic or something..any more ideas on this subject lol.i remember that ron movie back in the day,it was on like sunday afternoon on reg.tv ch. and i thought i would never hear about it again.i dont even remember hardly any parts, just how good and creepy it was,bad ronald..
very cool bro.. ive got my favorites too. i love horror movies all the way back from the silent era- now. but my all time favorites, slasher movie= original Tex chainsaw. Zombie movie= original Living Dead. Vamp movie= Salems Lot.. all time fav= Exorcist.
When you were talking about the woodchipper massacre I thought you said it's about a terrible Ant. It was only when you said Grandmother I realised you must have said Aunt.
I totally agree on that CGI statement, real stuff is scarier, because it's real. Luckily many directors prefer using suits and animatronics, like Guillermo Del Toro for instance.
Horror movies were always one of my favs, some good ones you might like are: "Slashers" its by fangoria I think and its really good. Also "S.I.C.K." a killer clown movie. Id also like to here your imput on the movie titled "Mr. Jingles" I personally thought it was crap, but you prolly have a better sense of humor than me, and could prolly make some ppl laugh about it.
I never bought another movie from a pawn shop after an incident in 2002, which in turn made me by a DVD player. After watching Jumping Jack Flash, I rewinded it. I put in Vampire in Brooklyn and all I got was static, there was sound and voices but no viewable picture. I think I blamed it on Jumping Jack Flash because I looked inside the tape and seen that there was something sticky in there. I did manage too clean the VCR, but I said it was time for DVD. Flatliners was my first DVD movie watch.
Rambo and Rocky were both good movies. Hes old but hes still in good enough shape to do those kinds of movies. He looked like he was in good shape for Rambo. Plus Rambo also had a motive behind it (1st off money obviously) but also to shed light on the horrible stuff going on in Burma.
Sly was in great shape for Rambo, and the movie did exactly what is was supposed to do. It provided some great action scenes and and sequences. Rambo was more of a badass in the new one than he was 20 years ago.
I thought Rambo 4 was good actually :), btw i hope you and MJ will make more around the town or something, real fun to watch. I also hope you can do a new video on your new place! Keep up the good work! ps: I MISS MJ! x)
Good collection coolduder ! I am a movie fan too here, i have about 250 dvds in my collection, in all themes, but a few of horror. I have the films Leo The Professional by Luc Besson, the movie Exorcisme of Emily Rose(2005), The Taxi Driver, The Final Fantasy and The Abyss, for example, what you think about that films ? Thanks
there is one store that specializes in ordering hard to find classics like Dark Night of the Scarecrow and Freaks, Alice Sweet Alice, The Car, and the hammer films with Peter Cushing and Cristopher Lee, also The House That Dripped Blood, and What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? they will order any movie as long as its on the web for sale they will get it
Any coolduder fans still come back to watch his early favorite dvd videos? I sure do..

Thanks a lot mate. Whenever I fancy watching a horror film, I always turn to you for advice. I've watched many good films on your recommendation x
2007: Sequels & Remakes
2015: Sequel, Remakes and fucking super-hero movies.
I love your horror reviews, I've found so many amazing films from watching your videos! We have pretty much the same taste in horrors, except I adore all of the Saw films, they are my guilty pleasures :D Thanks! x
I'm glad Stallone made another Rambo, he rocks that character.
If you like Bad Ronald, I urge you to see Crawlspace from the 1970's with the same actor who played Ronald.
it really disappoints me that we will never see horror movies as good as those of the 80's
Man, what about "They Live" by John Carpenter? 1988, I got on blu-ray. It's awesome in my opinion
Good job -- this is EXACTLY the kind of information I was looking for: rare, hard-to-find, more off-the-wall kind of horror. Excellent job! Thank you. I will be subscribing and watching your videos, definitely.
1:30 being alone by himself :D
Coolduder, you are possibly the only person in the world who encompasses and lives the idea of what it is to be a cinephile. Your passion is an obsession and is not bound by taste preconceptions, flawed distribution techniques or print limitations. Jean-Luc Godard only watched 2 films a day. Fuck him. Big up yourself and keep being inspired in your life.
Sincerely, a big fan.
Fuckye, it's true... I once spent a whole hour just listenin' to him talk about... Nothing. Just felt kind'a comfy, for some reason.
you met the entire cast of "Return of the Living Dead" ??!! My favourite horror film is "the blob"... Didn't know the full version was on youtube
"Something else happened that day that year... But I'm not telling."
That made me laugh for some reason. But dude. I love your passion for film!
I like a movie called One Dark Night, from the 80's, with Meg Tilly, pretty good too
I really enjoyed your reviews of horror films. I like your attitude, and how you see the positive side in the not so good films.. Thanks
Nice collection there buddy, Return of the living dead is one of my favorites too.
I feel like anybody could be friends with this guy, he just seems like a really nice guy to be around.
man i just watched Donnie Darko and the lost boys and Im falling in love with 80's cult movies:)
some cool looknig filsms thanks:D
and you have some cool merch in the background:D
your taste in horror movies is impeccable, i love the full on gore for fun, however psychological horror i find much more disturbing.

Your videos are really helpful in steering me in the direction of some classics! Thanks!
Great film. You'll love it. Also pick up a copy of the part 2. It's loaded of pure 80s fun.

i would like to thank you for givin me some of your favorite horror movies by giving you some of mine. i have never heard you talk about them but i hope you will in the future.
the skeptic, dead end, pontypool, dead set, end of the line, death of a ghost hunter, rec 1, rec2, splinter, the hord, dance of the dead, shuttle, let the right one in, anamorph
Totally agree on the special effects, puppets are so much creepier!
really wish you would put in mainstream movies to. I usually like your quick little reviews and are usually spot on with suggestions so some movies i might of skipped you would say are good.
I always loved the popcorn scene from Troll 2
I certainly agree with your disdain for this constant barrage of sequels and remakes that Hollywood keeps churning out. However, I can't really blame them, because, like any other industry, their in it for the profit and, unfortunately, people like to watch this sub-par crap.
Also, kudos on your choices of Dawn of the Dead and Return of the Living Dead. Those are two of my favorite films also. I feel the same way about movies set in a mall for some reason.
Great videos, man!
You probably do some of the most interesting videos on this site
yeah they remodeld the mall here where I live in the mid 90's. It used to be brown bricks with lots of biege colour with orange with the classic food court. Then they renovated it to all white. I like the 70's and 80's original mall layout too.

I imported it from CDN (or USA?) to Germany because its so awesome. I love it! :D
Greets from Germany
The last Rambo kicked ass silly coolduder. Stallone kicked ass in that film.
Last House on the left is pretty good. I'll pop it in whenevr I fire up my old Beta machine.
Horror movies were always one of my favs, some good ones you might like are:
"Slashers" its by fangoria I think and its really good.
Also "S.I.C.K." a killer clown movie.
Id also like to here your imput on the movie titled "Mr. Jingles"
I personally thought it was crap, but you prolly have a better sense of humor than me, and could prolly make some ppl laugh about it.
Bad Ronald is frickin awesome mate - thanks for the recommendation.
Do you think that this could be done well as a remake?
I never bought another movie from a pawn shop after an incident in 2002, which in turn made me by a DVD player. After watching Jumping Jack Flash, I rewinded it. I put in Vampire in Brooklyn and all I got was static, there was sound and voices but no viewable picture. Flatliners was my first DVD movie watch.
Saw IV was good man! Well I liked it lol
Nice work, kid. Keep it up. You're obviously passionate about your movies. Good quality video, too.
Peace.
I keep seeing night of the comet mentioned in your videos, I really want to see it now.....
That movie is awesome. If you are a zombie fan, it is a must-see.
I liked it.
They did film Day of the dead in a salt mine. They had a bunch of issues too because the whole cast was sick for a good part of the shoot.
Hey man you were awesome in "Assault of the Sasquatch" !!!!!!
I love Motel Hell, Probably my favorite horror movie. Deranged was pretty good as well.
Sly was in great shape for Rambo, and the movie did exactly what is was supposed to do. It provided some great action scenes and and sequences. Rambo was more of a badass in the new one than he was 20 years ago.
I remember watching Caged Terror around 20 years ago on some obscure UK cable channel, it’s high up on my list of best worst films.
This kid rules! Good job kid. You're a good egg.
I thought Rambo 4 was good actually :), btw i hope you and MJ will make more around the town or something, real fun to watch. I also hope you can do a new video on your new place! Keep up the good work! ps: I MISS MJ! x)
You should definitely check out the Harbinger Down Kickstarter.
i love how every video he has starts with "hey Guys" hehe
Thank you! I was looking for a good movie to watch!
Thanks
great film, its a cult though:D
great directing for it's time its got some great camera cuts:)
what do you think of all of the zombie movies that have been made in the last 10 years.
there is one store that specializes in ordering hard to find classics like Dark Night of the Scarecrow and Freaks, Alice Sweet Alice, The Car, and the hammer films with Peter Cushing and Cristopher Lee, also The House That Dripped Blood, and What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? they will order any movie as long as its on the web for sale they will get it
I Drink Your Blood is such a kick ass movie! Can't really find any other movie like it!
