I have had an implant done. And the site is currently healing. I recovered a clear stint as you made. I have it for the top front teeth.i am struggling to remove the plate when i need to brush my teeth, why is that and can it because its so tight fitting rip out my current crowns? As it is very difficult to remove the plate. And can i eat normal food with this plate. Your reply will be greatly appreciated Dr. Thank you.

very good technique for temporary prosthesis...if patient is wearing this for say one month or two, then the posterior occlusal pattern will change due to the thickness of thermoform sheet, so i think it will better to cut the occlusal surfaces of the stent so the tooth surfaces can come into contact and not the teeth and sheet.... what do u say LSK? thank u....

Another solution, that we make, is if space is already created (so no teeth in the model already) and the clinician has taken the colour of the teeth, we adjust acrylic teeth (cheap ones, of course) to the model (we need an antagonist model for adjusting purposes) before the vacuum. When the vacuum is done we take out the clear stent from the model and proceed to adjust the contour. In our case, the plastic has a protecting film that we take out leaving the stent always clean if we have used wax or any other material around the teeth. At this point, if the acrylic teeth are dirty from wax, we clean them and prepare them to reinstall in their place in the stent, using adhesive. If the heel of the teeth has holes, I normally cover them with temporary acrylic of more or less the same colour, trying to avoid an excess of it so it doesn't enter in between the teeth to keep the esthetic, if possible, so this way the round surface will create a certain pressure on the natural tissue in case later on, like in your case, there will be implants or an acrylic partial. Thank you for sharing your own world, for your generosity.

Hi. An interesting idea, but I have some reservations, I think that after placing the splint in the patient's mouth, an open bite will occur because the splint will raise the occlusion on the last molars. You can probably shorten the rail or make it in the bite, recreating the short circuit.
    Greetings.

하지만, 한국에서는 다이렉트로 임시치아를 제작하고 체어사이드에서 바로 제작하기에 디자인에도 무리없이 제작을 하는 시스템을 구축하고 있습니다.

We call these Essix Flippers. Make a bunch of them. You can speed things up by drilling a 2mm hole through the retainer on the lingual of the teeth being replaced and inject your acrylic through the hole using a syringe. What did you use to remove the wax from the retainer without distorting it?

I don't think so. And also a lot of work. I've done about the same appliance to myself. To fabricate this appliance it takes the same amount of time to fabricate cold cure partial denture.
The fabrication procedures interesting yes but the quality and the time not good. partial acrylic denture it takes the same amount of time with better quality.

Amazon! I am 100% serious! If you search 'dental supplies' or 'at home denture kit ' you can find everything you need. With the silicone I'd suggest getting the at home kit (make sure it comes with the impression and mold kits) and then get the silicone separately. Make SURE you get dental grade silicone, one that is safe to use in your mouth. I'm thinking about trying to make this, I have already used their at home kit to make a metal-free partial and I'm not crafty at all. It is beautiful and so much more comfortable than the bullshit*t one that I paid the dentist $1200 for. It had a metal palate, and the 3 teeth were on metal wires that scraped my natural teeth every time I put it in. I made my own and saved $1100. I'm going to try it with the silicone and see how it goes. Good luck!

Honey, this man offers his services to dentists and lab technicians only. He is a consultant, he doesn't see patients. Your best bet is to call around in your area and ask if they offer silicone partials and if they take your insurance. You may even try a Google search. Hopefully you drove six hours because you were told he was the best, and not because he was your only option. On doing so you may have bypassed local dentists that may offer this product. Sometimes a dentist may do great work on person, but someone else may need different work done and may not be as satisfied. Every case is different. Definitely start a little closer to home and make calls to see if they offer this and if they take your insurance, save yourself from another disappointment. Good luck and I hope you found someone!
