@Horizons Forge I was wondering where you git those from, are the street signs 3D printed as well? Did you buy the leds from any placevin particular? It's a great looking build.
Love you went with the STI blue! And the effect on the explosions is fantastic. I was so excited when you turned the lights on! Your dioramas really feel like a moment perfectly frozen in time.
Excellent build! You've really hit the ground running with your videos, very professional, interesting with incredible talent on display. I wish you all the best for your YT journey, subbed.
I have 7 of those gunpla kits for different projects. This is a really nice and simple approach to give detail to model kits. Def going to give this a go. plus i want to make my first diorama. Thanks
Happy to provide some inspiration! Hope it turns out well and that most importantly, you have fun! Reminder that I have a store in the description which contains some of the supplies I used. If you have any questions let me know!
FF7 and Gunpla dioramas earned a sub. The entry grade RX-78-2 is just enough to get a taste of what Gunpla can be. Try a Master Grade model or one of the more recent Real Grade models. Or if your up to it a Perfect Grade Gunpla model never disappoints. Maybe even enter GBWC. Anyways, MOAR GUNPLA!
Beautiful job! I've never built a diorama yet, but I am an experienced Gunpla modeler, so I have just a couple things to mention. For one, those little nubs on the V-fin on the forehead are just safety flags and can be cut off to make it look more accurate to the design. I thought the oil wash weathering and silver dry brushing were very cool. I love hand-painting, so it's awesome to see someone applying these techniques to gunpla...airbrushing seems much more common on youtube. There might be a little bit of wonky stuff going on with the scale, but it's hard to figure out since it's a 1/144 kit. The Gundam is supposed to be around 60 feet tall, so maybe around a 6 story building from head to toe? The scene could be a bit too big in places, but overall it looks so awesome that it hardly matters. Great work! I look forward to seeing more from you!
The car and some details were 3d printed. The light posts specifically were from a model railroad company, I bought them on Amazon some time ago and they come pre wired for lighting!
Hi! You're correct, it's a foam called XPS Insulation Foam. I bought this from Home Depot, might be harder to find outside the US and in warmer climates.
Damn, that thing looks really cool. i have the same one with american flags all over it and honestly i think i wanna go find the original and make something like this!
@@horizonsforge oh wow didnt expect a reply! Awesome cant wait! I know how you got hooked too xD i started collecting em last 3 or 4months ago i have about 8 gundams! Keep it up! Tho i suggest you should buy HG (High Grade) or higher its like EG but better!
Very impressive and effective! What type of wash did you use? Oil-based? I subscribed to your channel. You may want to check out mine. Keep up the great builts!

Awesome work. Your videos look very professional!
Much appreciated!!
Everything is so satisfying and the music is chill. This channel will be big in no time
Edit: are those some resin 3D printed set pieces I see?
Yeah I really hope so! Thanks! Yep, a few pieces are 3d printed like the shipping container and the car.

Great build! Where did you get the extra pieces? The car, light post, details for the buildings, etc?
The car and some details were 3d printed. The light posts specifically were from a model railroad company, I bought them on Amazon some time ago and they come pre wired for lighting!
Awesome work man!!!!
What kind of foam did you use? Actually, I'm not sure if it is a foam, the one you used for the buildings

Awesome diorama, what primer did you use for the paint job?
ProAcryl by Monument Hobbies. Their Primer range is fantastic.
Another great job! How'd you like the Gundam kit? One of those has also been on my list for years.
Super fun to build and pose, even for the entry level stuff. I can't wait to build more (and they are reasonably priced too). Thanks!!
More gunpla dioramas if possible pls :O
I fully intend to! I'm hooked. Lol.

I know how you got hooked too xD i started collecting em last 3 or 4months ago i have about 8 gundams! Keep it up! Tho i suggest you should buy HG (High Grade) or higher its like EG but better!
What glue did you use to fix the gundam?
I used thin super glue. It actually made the plastic brittle so I don't recommend it. Plastic cement might have worked better.
Cool but wish you narrated like Boylei
I do on my most recent videos!
Wonderful. I found your channel from one of his videos.
Very impressive and effective! What type of wash did you use? Oil-based? I subscribed to your channel. You may want to check out mine. Keep up the great builts!
Thanks! Correct, it's an oil wash, good eye!
