I have been on the Zo Obagi skincare for 3 months. I am 52 and had melasma and acne scaring. This system is amazing and has cleared up my skin, I have not had a pimple since I started it and have the confidence in my skin to go out without foundation on.
Lynn Marie I'm 53 with melasma and using Zo also. Love the products! I used Obagi and skin medica in the past and Zo is far superior. The photofacial laser and microneedling complete my routine. I do both together once per month during the summer and less frequently in the winter.

I am loving the line as well, I feel if there is any brand and money I would spend for sure at the moment is this company. I am using the retinol right now too added it in, I love the moisturizer defense as well and yes morning :) I am so glad your loving the line too, I agree it is a company I am so happy, and love love the polish!! I started using the ZO anti-aging skincare line since November of last year. Not sure what happened but noticed I started developing melasma discoloration around my cheeks bones and toward my temporal and purging. So last week I scheduled appt to go see an esthetician regarding the ZO skincare line. She had recommended that I start using the ZO wrinkle & texture repair every night, also in combination with my tretinoin 0.025% 2-3 times a night for 2 wk until I see her again. Plus continue using the ZO anti-aging kit. She told me to go back and see her in 2 wk which she'll do a scraping on my face??? Not sure what she means by that. I asked her if I should see her after my Vegas trip but she suggested I see her within 2 wk before my trip. So she scheduled my follow up the day before my Vegas trip. Ugh, how the heck am I suppose to go to Vegas looking all red, dried up like a prune with a lizard face??? Anyway, the first night I took her advice and used the wrinkle & texture repair w/ tretinoin. Second night used just the wrinkle & texture repair and oh man did my skin burned, itch, dried up and was painful as heck!!! So I stopped using the tretinoin in combination w/ the wrinkle texture repair but continued to use just the wrinkle & texture repair cream maybe every other day. Now my my skin looks like a lizard skin and very very dry w/ rough texture, painful and my neck looks all burned up. Not sure if this is normal??? I heard you're not suppose to get a facial or peel if your face is peeling from dryness? So I'm not sure if the esthetician knows what she's doing for my face.
You are right, you are not supposed to get any facial or cosmetic facial treatment if you are using Tretinoin, you would have to be off Tret for at least two weeks prior. I'm not sure why she has given you a wrinkle texture repair as well as Tretinoin that seems a bit excessive. Listen to your gut feeling because I had a similar situation with my previous esthetician, where she just didn't care what she was doing to my skin and wanted me to do procedure after procedure which I questioned because as you well know Tretinoin makes skin very sensitive and really everything else in your skincare regime should be as gentle and non-stripping as possible. I suggest finding a different esthetician, sometimes it takes seeing a few to feel right with someone. They need to have your best interest at heart and unfortunately, the lady I saw was just in it for the money and has since been struck off! Let me know how it goes for you. All the best xx Shaz

If you are using retinol or Tretinoin it is essential to wear an SPF daily! It doesn't have to be from the same brand but make sure it is at least a 30 - 50 SPF.
Do you find that you are experiencing the peeling and flakey skin that comes with the Retin A? And if you are, I've heard that the Bio Fond foundation is the best at camouflaging the dryness, would you agree? xoxoxo
