I just started using the N4004 and has now clue how to use it. I was getting +- signs, and your video helped me understand what that meant and how to adjust the shutter speed to make it work! Thank you!
Back in the late 1980s I bought my wife a Minolta 5000 for her birthday. While I was in the shop I thought I might like a new, modern camera for myself so bought a Niko F401 for myself, my first Nikon. I found the camera to be really good and became a Nikon fan. A couple of years later I bought an F-801S and later still added a couple of smaller, compact cameras including a Nuvis 75. When the Digital age arrived I bought a D90, a revolutionary camera at the time with video recording, then moved up to a D7100. I still have all these cameras and a couple of months ago added a pair of the new Nikon Zfs to my kit. I do have a lot of other cameras, 70 at the last count, but have always had a soft spot for Nikon. And the new Zf is an absolutely astounding camera. Thanks for the memories this video brought back for me.
I'm currently a Fuji shooter but I really was attracted to the Zf. When the reviews started coming out, I told all my Nikon fans. 70 cameras - wow. You got me beat by about 15.
The shutter speed wheel locks in either the A or L position. Likewise the Aperture dial locks in the S position. To release either or both simply press down on the little silver button just to the right and up from the Aperture dial which is also just to the right and down from the shutter speed dial. While holding down the button turn the wheels.
Yes, but autofocus wont work so you need to manually adjust the focus. The only lenses that work completely with it are AF and AFD lenses. AFP will not focus at all no matter what.

Glad you found some personal value in the video. Thanks for watching. Tell your friends.
The N2020/F-501 was the first AF SLR camera Nikon ever produced. I have both...

Aperture Priority Wheel & A.S.A. Speed Wheel are locked! Need an Extreme Close-Up of those wheels and "How they function"?

does an AF-S nikkor 18-55mm lens compatible with it?
I don't know.
