Great reaction. Sydnie really gives emotional performances. She has had some experience in 2 plays and cruise ship shows, but never was able to really break through for major roles in west end shows. There’s 2 more songs to hear in the semifinals (My Way), and finals (Over The Rainbow).
He was talking about people in the business having regular job while trying to break in. Sydnie is a good example ..
Here Sydnie enthralls the judges and the theatre audience with her unexpectedly bubbly and quirky personality, before holding everyone utterly spellbound with her highly emotional and imaginative performance of this heretofore predictable song. At the close of Sydnie’s outstanding performance you could hear a pin drop, such was the focus and attention that Sydnie’s magical performance had drawn - and thoroughly deserved.

Sydnie's even better performance came in the semi-finals. Run, don't walk, to "My Way."
Sydnie can do no wrong, but that song is horrible. I wish people would retire it. Self-glorifying, toddler-like proclamations of selfishness. People who believe that way struggle to have good relationships.
@@wandertree I love "My Way," it will never be retired. I don't interpret it at all in the same way as you do. As for a terrible song I wish would be retired, it's "Tomorrow."

Yes. Amazing she wasnt nervous. She said this was her last shot to go after her dream!!! Imagine knowing if she failed it was over. And I say that telling you her voice is the best voice I have very heard!! Not even close. Watch My Way and be prepared to be blown away.
Once you hear her other two performances, you might think like me. She is too good for the west end. She needs to be touring the world. Not just singing on stage in the UK. Maybe that’s why those others she auditioned for before didn’t want her. She was just too good.
Facts. She needs to ravel the world. I want to hear her in the US

I worked in the West End for 15 years and have never heard anyone as good as Sydnie 🥰 Her delivery and the way she acts through song is on a par, if not date I say, even better than the remarkable Rachel Tucker! Sydnie is simply generational 💜

I love this video of Sydney Christmas. I am so happy that she won.
She has some performing experience in England and German, but not enough to "pay the bills". Like she said in an iterview: "my life is alla bout try to have a day off at work to go for an audition". At 28 year old this can be a real life changing opportunigy

I've watched some video's of Sydnie when she was younger. First she has developed her talent, worked really hard to get this good because she was not this brilliant several years ago. Second, I suspect she has gone through some auditions and performing in front of just a few people judging your performance, is not good for your nerves. This was probably her first time before such an audience and she was watching the crowd, noticing they loved it from the start. Some artists need an audience to rise to the occasion and deliver as good as Sydney did. Thats why she said she never experienced anything like this. So wonderful there is a Britains Got Talent where artists like Sydnie Christmas really shine.

I hope she does not sign a contract in the West End. That's not her place to be. Her vocals have an intensity and presence I haven't heard since Whitney Houston. Would I have wanted to see and hear Whitney Houston play a role in a Musical in the West End or would I have wanted to see and hear Whitney Houston in a 2 hours solo show in the Royal Albert Hall or Madison Square Garden? Easy decision for both Whitney and Sydnie

You find people from all over the wortld who want acting jobs, in any low level job in Hollywood just to survive and co on auditions.

Some reactors, specifically vocal coaches, talk way too much. I personally enjoy watching people really enjoy this performance the way I did. Without stopping 30 times.
