The soundtrack was pretty meh compared to World at War. Sure, the WWII soundtrack makes you feel like a hero. But the World at War soundtrack makes you feel scared for your life. It makes you feel like just a single soldier. A single cog in a giant machine. It makes you feel helples and alone without your comrades. The campaigns show it aswell.

Alexian Heina It doesn’t play like any other cod it’s the slowest game in the series If you like it that way though that’s fine, I personally prefer the fast paced gameplay of the older cods. Black ops, bo2 even ww2.
MW2 ost stands out a lot because Zimmers did it. Also, "Extraction" and "Insertion" are two of Zimmer's best FPS game OSTs imo. Extraction is "The Ranger's Theme", Insertion is the Crysis 2 menu theme/opening.
The allie tracks from WW2 sound like various versions of the avengers theme in Captain America: the first avengers. The way the guitar wails on COD4 USMC hits different though

The WWII themes were pretty damn good. The whole soundtrack in general was pretty damn good.
