This is nice, it's eliminating the plug-in, plug-out process on jailbreaking for those who do not have raspberry pi...you can literally just keep the usb on the ps4...
Looking at the big picture, this method is very useful for those who don't have a USB extenstion adapter that you can turn on/off on each port. However, I recommend to get a USB extension adapter so that you can keep the Jailbreak USB plugged in at all times and just turn it on and off using the designated port switch on the extension adapter when instructed by the java script message. The one thing I do like about Magic USB is that you don't have to sacrifice a whole USB slot just for jailbreaking, in that you can also use it like a normal usb. But then again, if you have a USB extension adapter, then I guess it doesn't really matter at this point as you have other free ports for other HDDs. If anyone is using Linux, they most likely already have an extenstion adapter to account for the extra peripherals needed. If you do get an extenstion adapter, don't go cheap by getting an old skool 2.0, get a USB 3.0 or 3.1.
I have a USB extension adaptor with switches. so if i just follow the normal 9.00 jailbreak tutorial would i be able to eliminate the plug in/out step as i can simply turn on and off the switch on the USB adaptor?
Finally made this work. This didn't work for me with fat32, but worked with exFat, first make sure your drive is exfat, if it isn't before starting this tutorial format it to exFat in file explorer. When allocating the free memory (the first time) in Disk Management you don't see the option to quick format in exFat, uncheck the quick format checkbox and finish the process, then in file explorer just do the quick format in exfat, continue the tutorial as normal.
Tip : exfat only supports usb larger than 32gb you can use fat instead of exfat on those i used fat and it's working fine exfat doesn't appear if your storage is less than 32gb Use fat for less than 32gb

So just a headsup. It works as FAT32 if you cannot do exFAT format, too, but I'm unsure of what causes this and I cannot seem to be able to eject the drive safely, it says "use this device" instead. The console also reports format is exFAT, so I'm just clueless
in disk management alocate any letter to the volume but chose not to format it. then in the cmd.exe window, type command “format f: /fs:exfat” (where F is the drive letter of the partition you want to format) and press Enter. still going trought the rest of the steps, ill let you guys know if its fine in 5 minutes ;) eDIT: Flawless Victory! did it on an old see trough slim sony 2GB with a cool flashing led. LMAO!!
It'll drop tomorrow
I have an external drive with 2TB and about 150 games on it plugged in in the back usb of my ps4pro. Can i use that too? (Copying my files to the pc, install magic and copying files back on the drive) Or do i have to reinstall my games then?
You cannot do that. The external drive is formatted for game storage, in a proprietary format only the PS4 can access.
I knw its a stupid question but tell me Can we play ps4 games also on this JB? And where can we find ps4 games package files ? I have never jb even once .. so now im gonna do it .. but i want to jb just for ps4 games..
@@Itsmkay91 Of course you can, but I won't give you the full sources. Look on Reddit, if I give the full source here it will help the content get taken down.
@@xGMV ok and those fake package files are totally free ? And my version is 9.60 ... And i think i have to install 9.0 version then Jb right ?
@@Itsmkay91 You are out of luck, you are on 9.60, you cannot downgrade to 9.00. Sell your PS4 and try to find an used one online, something used last time on December or even a Pro if it's still in boxed.
You do still have to take the USB out then plug it back in again everytime you turn the system on and off, right?
You can't just leave it and never have to get up again, correct?

yes, you have to unplug and plug it back again 12:35

Can anyone share magic usb file link? I am unable to find a working one.

Hi. I mainly use my ps4 for youtube chill, streaming soccer and movies through "unnamed" sources guess you could say as a media center. Ps5 is for gaming.
Is it possible to use ps4 for aforementioned purpose if you jailbreak it?
Also I dont see an exFAT file system (6:04), I only see FAT32 - does that work as well?
Thank you for a great and pedagogic video! 👍
@ZedThree Right!
Thanks a lot!
Hello sir can u teach me how to install games pkg files by usb into ps4 or ps5 thanks

I can't get this to work. I keep getting "Failed to trigger the exploit heap" then "there is not enough memory in storage". My SSHD is 1tb and only just been installed so there is about 873gb available.
Does this work for lower firmware or only 9.00
Where is your other channel Alex Mercury??
I wanna download ps2 games
It is possible to go online(Like Stealth Servers on Xbox 360)?
Hi thanks for the educational videos. My ps4 unfortunately ran into a safe mode boot loop and i dont know how to fix it. Please help.
Worked finde but i have an issue after rebooting with my usb storage still connected in the usb port. when i try to re-jailbreak it says: "failed to trigger exploit kernel heap might be corrupted, try again or reboot the console" this doesnt happen when i unplug und plug in the usb storage. then it workes fine. so i still have to unplug und plug the usb storage. but why? thank you for your help. :)
Literally less than a minute into the video and he covers this. YOU shouldn't be mucking with your device, in fact- please put on a helmet and sit in the safe corner. ua-cam.com/video/mZW1pY-bfqM/v-deo.html
@@RealHardRom He says he covered this problem a few seconds later so i don´t understand what you want from me...maybe you can help me with a good and understandable comment...thank you
I cant choose exFAT when formatting my usb. it only shows FAT32 and NTFS. HELP
Then use FAT32
@@MODDEDWARFARE it worked. thanks
Hi. Thank you for your tutorial.
The download link is down, could you please update it?
Thanks.
Hello sorry if u have already answered this but i just bought a ps4 and i wanna know if i can still play games online if i jailbreak my ps4 like play with other ppl etc. Thanks in advance
My favorite part of this tutorial was when modded warfare said @5:28 " now , we get into the kinda weird stuff " and if im being honest that was the most normal part of the whole tutorial 😂😂 the weird stuff is all before and after that 💀
Link for MagicUSB is dead... Can't find any mirrors for it online either
With this method Is it still necessary to unplug and plug the USB to load the jailbreak?
hi loving the vids would it be possible to show a newbie how to decrypt a game save like diablo 3 so i can mod it using my editor on pc i have and then resign it again to use on ps4 pls
Awesome work. thanks for your vids. only got a ps4 like one month ago, was lucky enough to clueless get a slim 9.00 and been following your work since. Never failed. Next project ---> trying to run steam OS on it.
@@remorema I got it to work, but the errors persist. As in, I cannot safely eject the drive, it says 0KB used, but at least exFAT works fine now, been using it to transfer saves and screenshots.
And hey, welcome to the scene.
@@remorema I did that, but it says "the specified port doesn't exist", even when I alocated the letter F to the volume and chose not to format it. After choosing not to format it, it says the usb is RAW. Like it doesn't have a letter to it.
Do you know what I can do to fix this?
@@LionEntity you are probably skipping some step. Any way, I went back to the old unusable drive exfathax. the payload site I'm using now doesn't deal with it very well. Fails many times, and with the old one works at first try every single time. It's just an old 2Gb drive anyways. I rather have an unusable usb working at first try than annoying myself with 5 or 6 tries before getting it to work.
@@remorema What host is it? Beware of the scammers with malicious payloads that may run without you ever realising.
Bro can you explain us about kernel panic and the best way to avoid it to happen on 9.00ver?
Where did you download the game from?
Hey modded warfare i saw in your BO3 vid you had perkaholics offline can you show a tut on that or explain it for me?
