It's started working on the 2nd day for me but I'm only using the serum in a pump. My face looks amazing and I'm on one week and 1 day so far. You then have to be careful where you apply it because my cheeks were getting a little to full for my liking so I apply in only on wrinkles
I was so happy to see you had done this review thankyou Karen! I have decided to use it for my neck (serum and night cream) so will be interested to see if it works. I use tretinoin but because it can’t be used on neck I wanted to find something to use there. ❤
I bought the day cream and the serum, I have been using them night and day for almost a month and no difference. I find the day cream very hard to absorb and it does cause some piling on me .. the serum is nice though and I enjoy using this .. am still on the fence about this as to whether it works ... not sure if I would bother buying any of the other products apart from the serum again. A bit underwhelming to be honest!!
Hi Karen, thanks for the review, I look forward to hearing your results. The results No.7 have so far seem pretty meaningless, with such a small 'clinical' study. Tretinoin can take 6 months to see a difference with skin issues so saying 4 weeks see results is a little hopeful although if you've never had a skin routine then you might see a slight difference but you could say that if you slapped anything on your face 😆. I never made the connection that my watery eyes might have been due to fragrance, what a numpty I am! I stopped using fragrance in skincare about 5 years ago and was putting my eyes being better down to not working in London anymore, less pollution, tiredness etc. Hope you're doing ok x
Hi Karen I have obviously seen the ADs on TV and I have a voucher, but historically I have not had great luck with No7 skincare tbh - including a few fairly bad reactions on patch testing a couple of the serums and other products. At least this serum is fragrance free (which isn't the case with most of the range), so I might try to get a tiny sample to allergy test. Peptides are something I use in my skincare, but truthfully have not seen major changes in my skin with - even some of the higher percentages and expensive products. For me azelaic acid is probably my favourite active due to rosacea, but I have had success on and off with retinoids when my rosacea was in calmer phases. I use Ultrasun as my main spf and only use a mineral spf whilst in full rosacea flare tbh. It works well for me and I trust the protection it gives on my fitzpatrick one skin (I've used it for over a decade). I look forward to seeing if it does do something, but I'll probably wait and see (also once the hype dies down it's easier to get a sample tbh). Best wishes.
Oooooo I am looking forward to the full official Beauty Maverick verdict soon. Hope you share an interim update if there's anything dramatic or unexpected 😊
I’ve given up on this range already! My make up just rolled right off. Tried serum on its own. Tried day cream on its own. Same result. I’ll use them at night maybe. Waste of time for me. 😢
I bought this range bought 2 of each the day cream, night cream and serum, havent tried it yet, also bought the Boots Collagen range bought the night cream and serum from it
Hi Karen, question have you ever used MUA Makeup Academy eye shadow pallets, someone here in the US is raving about them and they are really cheap like Elf products?
I bought the serum and the night cream and have been using for 2 weeks now I’m not a fan of the night cream as it pills on my skin but love the serum my skin is softer and plumper on my face but it hasn’t made any difference on my neck or décolletage if anyone knows of a good effective serum/ moisturizer for Crepey décolletage would be really appreciated ❤
I find the skin claims quite misleading as they often compare it to no cream/serum vs No7 rather than the participant's normal cream/serum vs No7. There is no control group that is realistic in the context of life. What do you think? Also are these peptides any different to those in NIOD and The Ordinary or orher peptide forward brands?
Yes I agree, which is why I wanted to see the research! They are different yes as they are new peptides. Nobody thus far has used Tetrapeptide 94/95. x
@The Beauty Maverick that's really useful thank you. It makes me curious how the new peptide by No7 compares to others when put head to head in a study. I wonder if the company would provide any more transparent data if you (as a renowned beauty vblogger approached them) or if indeed your peer vbloggers gain this? Lab Muffin shares sciency skincare content but she's in Australia so products are different. Do you follow anyone else for insight? Do you have any thoughts on ferments, skin prebiotic etc?
How do you think this compares to the original No7 serum interms of initial impressions AND potentially effective ingredients/concentrations? I'm unsure ehat the difference is
Initial impressions are the same, nice serum, but this one doesn't have fragrance in - a lot of the others do. In terms of ingredients there is nothing to say as yet until we know about this new peptide. The peptides in the previous serums have some research around them. I haven't done a direct comparison in terms of researching it thoroughly though, these are just my thoughts from what I know. x
I bought the serum and night cream and I have received compliments on the new glow on my face!
Worth watching The Honest Channel talks with No 7.

I used No7 years ago ( not that long ago lol. 5 years) for a long time. Thankyou Karen ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ xxx 🦮🐾🐾 Love when you smile after Applying xxx

Hi where do you get your tretinoin from? In UK we cant get it in UK unless prescribed

I am hoping this will come to the US! Thank you, Karen ❤
I brought them all, I have brought the serum in 50ml. On the fence about the rest
I've purchased the serum it's awesome. I mean awesome.
I’ve given up on this range already! My make up just rolled right off. Tried serum on its own. Tried day cream on its own. Same result. I’ll use them at night maybe. Waste of time for me. 😢
Oh no, sorry to hear that!
I bought this range bought 2 of each the day cream, night cream and serum, havent tried it yet, also bought the Boots Collagen range bought the night cream and serum from it
I have been using this range since it came out and I think it is just clever marketing. I have noticed absolutely no improvement
Hi Karen, question have you ever used MUA Makeup Academy eye shadow pallets, someone here in the US is raving about them and they are really cheap like Elf products?
I used them many years ago but only had 1 or 2 palettes. They are ok but nothing amazing. x
@@TheBeautyMaverick ok, I won’t bother with trying to get some, they are raving about them here in the states but I know how that works🤣
I bought the night cream oh my the perfume makes my eyes water and my skin sting why do they add such a strong cucumber type perfume I can't use it

What level of uva protection is offered by the day cream? Is it 5 star uva protection like the Lift & Luminate no7 range?
They don't give details I'm afraid
Did day cream burn eyes since it has sunscreen?
No it didn't surprisingly! x
