Great video, Pete is the kind of bloke I could sit and listen to all day long, they should have him going into schools giving talks to kids to inspire them as to what you can achieve with a bit of hard work!
Fabulous video Tom.What a character Pete is, I would love to sit down with him and listen to his life story. Hope your dad is recovering well. Thanks for sharing. Love watching all your videos. Best wishes from an old Lancashire lass.❤👍👏👏🙏
What an amazing and fascinating bloke. Really inspirational as to what you can achieve with a lot of hard work and good judgement. That has to be the ultimate toybox, loved the Ford cars too
Good on ya, Pete! I know a few now that have done very well from graft and none of them did school very well at all. Most from farming backgrounds too.
What an absolutely stunning collection! From all the Classic Tractors to the Ford Cars and even the models, this place is like heaven for me! 🤩 Pete, you are an absolute legend and the story of how you grafted to get to where you are today is inspirational! Would absolutely love to see your place in person! 😁😍
Great to see the few tractors. I was in the army,Royal Engineers 1975-1986. We used the Muir hills, as light wheeled plant. Backactor, front shovel, forks. We used it everywhere, great bit of kit.
Now that is the most amazing collections I have ever seen gathered together in one place ! It's just a pity that I can't get along to see it as it it will be a once-in-a-lifetime event for a tractor enthusiast. Thanks for sharing your video.
I was miffed that the tractors I worked with are now classed as vintage then remembered I’m a right old duffer. Mid 60’s was when I started on tractors on the farm, TE20 was my first one then 35x and Dextas. Thought I was king of the hill when a Q cab Ford 6600 came home and it had a radio 😎😎😎😎😎
Me too, but I'm even later than you! Loved MF135 and MF185 (the big tractor!), but the MF590 was the pinnacle. Then a Ford 6610 pure luxury. Couple of years later JD2140 SG2 cab, (spent a lot of time on a JD2130 hedge cutting (seemed so miserable in comparison). Then a JD3640 with an aftermarket turbo (wow), then promoted to the JD4240S replaced by a JD4755. They're all either vintage or classis and I'm not old enough!!!
We have a 178 on our farm over here in Ontario Canada. I use it move wagons and small trailers around the farm. I have never seen another 178 until this video. They are quite rare on this side of the pond.
Tom this is a fab video! What an amazing man Pete is, I could listen to his stories all day. We had a MF 135 with a front loader on it for the farm. I think it ended up in Australia with my brother in law when he moved out there. After that we ho a Ford 3000 which a neighbour has now and is still running. When we got it, the rear tyres were filled with water. I hope your Dad is feeling better soon.
Tom, interesting video you just done really enjoyed listening to that gentleman how you made his money hard work does pay off. Thanks again for taking the time to show us. Hope Dad is going on alright. Keep us up-to-date. Thanks
I love Pete, could listen to him all day , I like the back stories good , bad and naughty 😉I can relate to some of the family dynamics and power to him for what motivated him in the beginning ❤ 😘
Wow Tom, that’s an unusual video for you but I really enjoyed it. What an inspiration Pete is, I really admire people like him that have worked hard and done well. I love his story how he started and the hardship he’s gone through, what a top bloke. That’s going to be some sale!
Amazing gentleman. Quite the collection, never heard of some brands. Got some nice Newfoundlands too. Thanks Pete for allowing Tom to share. Love and prayers 😇💜
brilliant video tom .......one of your best. some collection that. absolutely love hearing stories of how people start from nothing and achieve all that. all this going to university - getting degrees and then struggling just to buy a house or something has got nothing on this. Fords always seem to make good money these days ........young Harry Cornock (funky farmer) would love that Ford 7000
I can see you buying the case 4240 or 5120. Either would be good on the straw chopper. That 7810 2wd would also be a handy tractor with a bit of grunt, being a 6 cylinder
Awesome collection… fantastic to see.. I’ve driven a lot of them over the years..( I’m 46).. fave being a MF135…( what I learnt on).. but that 175… is spectacular… love seeing 2wd tractors these days… wish I had some money to spend..👍🏻👍🏻
Wow that is awesome . We have an auction on tractors and trailers and hay wagons ,grain wagons, disc , plows , and other things plus tools. Maybe Tom you could buy you two tractors or own when sale starts. Holly crap wow that’s a lot for each vehicle. Wow that’s going to be one hell of an auction .
Thats what you call a collection great job there tom shame you're dad missed it all the best to him . I remember in the 80s when heysham power station was being built muir hill tractors did a lot of the trailer work on site.
You can tell a lot about someone by the company they keep. Tom your Dad and you are a delight bit anytime we get to see your mates its amazing how genuinely sound they are. That and the Newfoundlands Love it ❤
Tom- thanks for a great video, just so sorry your dad had to miss it. Pete is amazing, not only for his rags to riches life but his love and knowledge of every machine he owns! I wish him well on his sale.👍❤️

Thanks for that a real insight into a very interesting and driven man. He’s been through some crap in his life and it’s a tribute to the man that he’s just got back up again dusted himself down and ploughed on. Also his charity work wow.
Cracking video. Wife just cought me planning on heading for the sale, now she's hidden my car keys! Joking aside that was a very interesting video of a fantastic collection.
oh love the Ford Tractors but when the door opened to the shed and i saw the Ford RS's and mustangs i shed a tear lol. Love the ford RD cars and miss my old ones. last one i had was a Sapphire Cosworth 4x4. im a ford guy and always will be i recon. Cracking collection he has great video. Great Fella, would be awesome chatting to him. I bet there are some stories he could tell.
Amazing video, really once in a lifetime situation. Top bloke and proof that if you can graft and are canny with the funds you can get wherever you want in life.
Those little Ford tractors are workers. We farmed with Ford tractors; very reliable machines. You’d be pleased with the work you’ll get out of one of those Fords working around the livestock. Our 4000 was the main tractor around the livestock; the 8000 spent its time in the field. The 4000 is still going today on another farm! It’s a 50 year old tractor now. Love spotting it still working when I get to “go home.”
Great video some lovely old tractors there the tractors of my youth and years in farming I learnt to drive on a fergie 135 Back in the 80s I was on silage cart on a Ford 6600 brilliant tractor My former boss started out as a nipper selling spuds on his bike then progressed to turkeys when I worked for him he had 3 garden centres and 2 wholesale nurseries
Learnt to drive on a old grey Massey..... farmed with Ford 3600, and a Ford 4100. Then boss got fiat's 4555 replaced the 3600's, and a 5565 to replace the 4100 with its forklift.
What a fantastic collection of machines there Tom, now I'm not going to be too greedy but I would like to have the Ford 5000, the 165 Fergie oh and just for good measure the Escort RS2000.
That's probably the best display of fast fords across the decades by one collector, the Bullitt Mustang is a great addition, will be following to see prices in the current climate 😎👍
Great video, Pete is the kind of bloke I could sit and listen to all day long, they should have him going into schools giving talks to kids to inspire them as to what you can achieve with a bit of hard work!
What a great video. Just just goes to show you can go from nothing to this with hard work and a taste for tractors. What a great gentleman he is 👏👏👏
Fabulous video Tom.What a character Pete is, I would love to sit down with him and listen to his life story. Hope your dad is recovering well. Thanks for sharing. Love watching all your videos. Best wishes from an old Lancashire lass.❤👍👏👏🙏

What a great comment! 💯 I wish you a great rest of the day!!
What was the Ford near the start of the video in between the 4220 and the 4000?
Lovely to see all the old tractors wishing your Dad a speedy recovery Tom
That was an absolute treat. The Massey Ferguson 3095 for me and the older 135. Thank you Tom and Pete.
Fred Dibbner was steam Tractors , Pete is the Motor Tractor King......................Proper enjoyed that.
One of your best 'non-Pemberton Farm ' vids you've made. Awesome collection
What an amazing and fascinating bloke. Really inspirational as to what you can achieve with a lot of hard work and good judgement. That has to be the ultimate toybox, loved the Ford cars too

George and Lord muck would be overwhelmed!!!!

Pete Marquis is a legend. Do miss him and scrap kings. He needs a youtube channel to rival Ashville.
Absolutely incredible, what a collection. His back garden is a full on museum.
Really cool to see.
The 135 brought back loads of memories in the field with a hay Bob on as a teenager 😊 👌
Pete sounds like an absolute legend could have listened to him for hours and incredibly a self made legend as well 👏
Rode on a Ford 8210 when I was about 12, doing grain cart, got a wee shot loading off the combine. Was awesome.

Great video cheers Tom
We have a 6610 here in NZ. About 6000hrs on it. Most reliable tractor we've had. Doesn't do alot of work but it never let's us down
Without doubt the CIH 5120 & 4240. I grew up on International's - Farmall 706, IH 986fwa. The big old IH's don't seem to be common over there.
Wow that is awesome . We have an auction on tractors and trailers and hay wagons ,grain wagons, disc , plows , and other things plus tools.
Maybe Tom you could buy you two tractors or own when sale starts. Holly crap wow that’s a lot for each vehicle. Wow that’s going to be one hell of an auction .

in sweden we have a company that makes ford parts for every modell we got spare parts for our Ford 4610
I would have a hard time pulling myself away from that. Absolutely amazing.
Great video Tom, what a collection. Thanks for the tour.
Pete is awesome, I am full of admiration! I have to wonder whether most council planning departments are simply full of jobsworths.
Wonderful! Didn't spot one but my favourite tractor was a 1961 Fordson Dexta. Not big, but so tractable and versatile, and a good 'runabout'.
Either MF3070 or Ford 7810. Drove a 3080 in my teens, loved it. Seem to remember it went 40K backwards as well.
Tractors are interesting but the ford escorts would be the first thing I would go to. Great video Tom I hope your dad is feeling better soon
Amazing video, really once in a lifetime situation.
Top bloke and proof that if you can graft and are canny with the funds you can get wherever you want in life.
The 8730 and Muir Hill used to belong to a friend, were cracking tractors
What one did you buy TP… Get that 6610! Investment, you cannot loose. How lovely to be invited to look around Pete’s collection.
Sale is next week 😂
@@TomPembertonFarmLife you could of easily brought it before the sale 😉
Great video Tom. What a collection, so great to see it. Pete Marquis what a legend, hats off to him, 👍👍
