Bamia Thabiek || Lamb & Okra Stew
Bamia thabiek is a Sudanese okra stew cooked with meat, onions, tomatoes, garlic and a blend of spices.
INGREDIENTS LIST:
1 kg lamb meat
400g packet frozen okra
1 cinnamon stick
2 teaspoons cumin powder
2 teaspoons coriander powder
2 tablespoons of vegetable stock powder
2 tablespoons tomato paste
3-4 garlic cloves
Black pepper
3-4 tablespoons canola oil
HOW MY FAMILY & I EAT THIS: This can be eaten with rice, kisra or bread, however, my family prefers to have it with rice.
