Freaking perfect, 4/4, 9/8, 4/4, 11/8. Exactly the part I've always had trouble keeping up with.
I have been trying to get that section down with the 4/4, 9/8, 4/4, 11/8 for the longest time. I kept thinking that it was just 4/4 to 9/8 to 4/4 to 9/8. I didn't realize he threw in 11/8. No wonder I keep screwing that part up. Love this band and how they can sound simple while being complex
+Tom Swinford I got it down pretty quickly. I find it a bit easier when you just listen to this part over and over again until the feel is just natural. Ofc that doesnt work that often with DT songs. :P
I think he counts the 4/4 9/8 in 8 notes,so its 4/4 1234 1234 ,9/8 1123412345
