Endless Time Lapse

This painting was created through a completely different process than most of my paintings. It was based on an experience I had some weeks before (an experience that warrants its own video to discuss) but one that I wanted to recreate directly on the board with no preliminary sketches. The piece merged on the board with the filtering and visualizing stages of a painting that typically go on in my sketchbooks. It's during those phases that the composition and balance of the painting can shift dramatically. This one felt "locked in" too soon.

Sick work. Extremely high level stuff here. I love the design of the piece, and the execution is flawless. the way you sprinkle in the color work against the darker palette stands out.
